  Evan Clapper: Performs good with the ski tutorials! I use the "blue dot" on the satellite map with backcountry runs overlayed to greatly reduce my navigation time and let for more laps. Would suggest it to anyone looking to easily receive familiar with a fresh place quickly. Like a lot of cheats, doesn't replace common sense though...

  Micah Klesick: This apk is quickly becoming a must have for a climber that climbs at a place that features the Rakkup tutorial. Like any guidebook, the author has a lot to do with the quality, as Rakkup is the publisher, not the writers. Rakkup itself does an good job of mapping you to the routes and places, and showing perfect images and topo's to assist create sure you are on the right route. I found it simple to use, and would absolutely suggest it.

  Micah Gentry: Simply being able to save the weight and place of a comprehensive guidebook is good but having a better product that always stays up to date just makes sense. Gone are the days of getting lost or climbing something without any info. I have found Rakkup to have better searching and filtering capabilities than another mobile tutorials I have tried. The images look good and being able to zoom in or use the full screen view was helpful. The content from the author was rich and seemed to come from someone who is a local and has climbed the routes countless times. This is a mini game changer for sure.

  Jason Nelson: This apk is good from a player and author perspective. As and author I can hold updating my tutorial. The system takes a tiny getting used to, but so does any system. As I player, I really like not having to carry a bunch of guidebooks around. While I love a nice printed tutorial, I don't like having to travel with them. I almost always have my smartphone with me, so it's a bit of a slam dunk in those regards. The only thing I found wonky was the using the apk while driving. The map feature did some weird zooming in and out. That may have been fixed in latest releases. For hiking to the crag, it's good! No more getting lost with the GPS features.

  A Google user: So far I've really enjoyed the apk. Having so a lot of images accessible for the routes of an place is good. The ability to zoom in and around on images to see the detail of a climb is good. The map feature is other really good thing. What better method of finding a crag than by looking at it on a satellite view. Super simple to navigate to crags. No more getting lost. Definitely the best widespread apk accessible. There are loads of guidebooks accessible for so a lot of places. Super nice low cost method of getting the details you need for all the climbing trips you wish to create. As a developer that has used it to author my own guidebook and this is for those of you that are looking to do the same. The interface for doing so is super good. Makes things a snap!

  Melody Peng: I was able to search my local Exit 38 guidebook on rakkup. The original guidebook is no longer being published, so I'm satisfied to search one that covers the place. Turn by turn navigation from the trailhead to the crag is an good feature!

  William Tam: A good apk that's intuitive to use on the smartphone. Editing from the computer is easy too. Being able to easily see where the route goes and if it splits into variations is a large plus and colour coded routes to designatw sport and trad makes things simple to see at a glance. A tiny buggy on Android device, the apk freezes sometimes while going between route descriptions and route pictures.

  Only Good At Dynos: Love this apk! I use it specifically for Powerlinez (because it's very close to my residence and I go there often). I refer to it very often while I'm out bouldering! Even works offline! PLEASE add Haycock Mountain in Pennsylvania, it is an extremely difficult tutorial to search (2012 ver)!

  Justin Dwyer: Initially I was suspicious, all the digital guidebooks I had seen before were clunky, hard-to-navigate translations of the superior print product. They were digital guidebooks, and the concept didn't work. Rakkup is thankfully various. It's a guidebook apk. A fresh product, built with innovative ideas and features, that not only provides a functional alternative to print ebooks, but also compliments them. It picks up where modern print guidebooks have left off in exciting fresh methods.

  Tony Calderone: Here are my top 10 reasons for selecting Rakkup Apks over print guidebooks or internet here-say: 1) Turn-by-turn GPS navigation to the base of every route… without cell reception! If this is all it did the price would be totally worth it! 2) Solid beta I can believe from a local expert who stands behind their info. 3) Color images with route lines for EVERY SINGLE ROUTE. Hello? Anything else without this is just noise. 4) Constant updates ensure all my route beta is current. 5) No limit on the number of images or amount of beta the author can provide. (unlike print tutorials) Large benefit on multi-pitch routes where closeups of each pitch can be critical. 6) Rapid find capability by route, wall or sector. 7) Filter by Difficulty, Stars, Sport-Trad-Boulder-TR, Sun/Shade. 8) Beta on THOUSANDS OF ROUTES all located on my smartphone…. that I already take to the crag anyway. No internet connection required. 9) Consistently and logically formatted. Within mins I was zooming around the entire Apk, doing all kinds of things. It’s NOT an eBook. 10) Less expensive… both short and long-term.

  K Chaste: Good items, really like it -- sometimes crashes still (v12) but thats fine, just reload. ** Feature request: sideways swipe on any route descript to go to prev/next route. ** Feature request: Find route descriptions (in one tutorial "red #x" is a place reference point similar to #s on the walls, easier to search where the route near #20 is for eg). ** Feature request: private notes section for any specific climb, and a symbol to note in the routelist (and map? when zoomed in perhaps) to present which ones have private notes. Handy when visiting a complex place and trying to remember which/where/what to receive to your your project (or in my case, retro bolting, where problems are that need fixing.) (I realize synching this between devices might be tricky - link to dropbox or something? Even if it was just per that device that'd be good.)

  Mike Gray: This is a good apk, gifted with a very responsive tech squad and good features for authors and climbers alike. There are a few bugs, but there are bumps in the street of any fresh idea. The squad at rakkup has a good attitude and are determined to make a full-value product; I look forward to enjoying their another tutorials and working with them once more in the future.

  Tyrel Johnson: I use this from both sides, editing a guid and using it at the crag. On my Galaxy S6 active, I can only exit the apk with the home screen button or by force closing it. The apk occasionally freezes when scrolling through routes. The belay views, interactive images, and map/directions create it much better than another, gratis climbing topo apks. As a tutorial maker, the programs have a bit of a learning curve but responsive assist and very slick once you're familiar with it. Fix the bugs/crashes and it is a 5 star apk.

  Mike Melanson: Want it wouldn't restart navigation every time I switch apks or lock my smartphone. Also, why doesn't the tick feature work at all? Click on pitches to tick, choose everything, hit next and then save and it takes you right back to the latest screen. Navigation feature is definitely my favorite part. Also, it shuts down randomly a lot. If these bugs were fixed it would be good.
