HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, supports the initiatives that strengthen the country's status as a model for tolerance. In conjunction with the Year of Tolerance, the Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department organizes Ramadan Dubai in the holy month of Ramadan, presenting a fresh look through a series of happenings and activities inspired by the spirituality of Ramadan and social tools aimed at all communities, religions and groups of society. The happening contains interactive tools, exhibitions and workshops, media tools, and Ramadan Majlis aimed at reviving the nights of the month of Ramadan, maximizing its rituals for the soul, and targeting various segments of society in all ages and capacities among Arab and foreign communities. The happening, which runs throughout the holy month, brings together scholars, thinkers, decision-makers and international personalities to engage in deep and interesting discussions, participate in educational and awareness tools on how to spread the concepts of Ramadan among members of various communities, and spread peace, safety and prosperity in human societies.
