ReadItToMe reads out your incoming sms messages and any another apk messages, translating txt speak into normal language, and even lets you answer with your voice - completely handsfree! It supports reading & replying to SMS, Whatsapp, Hangouts, Telegram messages and more with your voice, completely hands free. Marino Anderson: This is the apk to have if you wish incoming an SMS read to you while using Bluetooth; a must when driving. The reasonably-priced make batter allows you to answer. I have the AT&T ver of the Samsung S6 Active and AT&T removes all SMS text-to-voice apps/functions. AT&T's solution, DriveMode, disables SMS altogether while driving. In an ALL or NOTHING approach, AT&T is telling drivers who wish to stay informed to revert to glancing down at their smartphone. It is here that ReadItToMe saves the day by providing a highly configurable and workable solution! My favorite feature is the ability to configure the apk to be silent when no Bluetooth device is connected, to configure Bluetooth devices separately, and to configure which apks can do text-to-voice. Kudos Rob! Note: If the apk reads the SMS multiple times, the apk will occasionally have problem listing to answers from questions such as, "Would you like to answer?". The solution to multiple response problem is addressed in the FAQ.

Pete Ewinger: It's good to search an apk the does exactly what you're looking for. By choosing the Bluetooth only option, it only reads my messages to me when I'm in the vehicle (which is the only time I wish them read out loud) and it will do it without me having to enable / disable an apk / setting every time. I also love that I can choose whatever TTS engine I wish. Thank you for making this good utility! UPDATE: The fresh feature added in v1.4 that allows you to specify which bluetooth devices do and don't trigger this apk is FANTASTIC. I wish my earpiece to turn this on, but not my bluetooth keyboard or smartwatch. Good thinking Rob J!
