Dante Estores: if you got the Tegra 2 error in the past, but weren't able to install it, test now. Polycom created some changes to the device list and now my SCH-i905 allowed me to install.

Jay cober: This at works good on some smartphone but my android device as it requires a tegra2 ver. I got my copy from the polycom help website. Works ok to our existing polycom cloud infrastructure. People that has a problem could consult a professional before making false accusations about this tool works good with sip, h323 and sip tls.

The apk is good for use with TIPT and with another VC infrastructure, however I would like to be able to EXIT the apk and not have it constantly running in the background, especially when on leave. Can an "Exit Application" button be added to the options menu in the next modernize?

A Google user: Had the apk running on ASUS Transformer Prime smartphone just ok with HC OS. Today ASUS updated the Transformer Prime OS from Honeycomb to ICS. The apk is now "not compatible". Just something to be aware of. It WAS working ok before the OS modernize. [1-26-2012 UPDATE] Had spoken to a Polycom employee who indicated they were working on a fix for Android device 4.0.3 (ICS) and when I downloaded the tool once more today, it worked once more. So rating goes up. Still should use more feature tweaks here and there, but it's working once more and that's the necessary thing.

A Google user: Had distorted audio from the far end for a while. Found out it was only when the YouTube apk was running in the background. Works good as long as I shut the YouTube apk. Thanks for the fast fix polycom. Now the only thing missing is Far End Camera Control.

A Google user: This application does work as described with the specific RMX MCU listed and any device supporting High profile. I was told by a Polycom engineer that the high profile limitation is in the process of being fixed so you will be able to connect with most H.323 devices. All in all, a good begin on this apk. A side note: I sure want this apk supported NAT translation...

A Google user: Have set it up on Wireless connection, place the smartphone in DMZ (or set up port forwarding), and tried it with VS, VSX, HDX, PVX, and Codian MCUs, issues with videos. When connecting to codec, not receiving far end video on smartphone. When connecting to PVX, PVX is not receiving far end video, but switching to rear camera resulted video to come up few times (less than 2/10).

A Google user: For some reason the apk zooms in dramatically when a call is started. I can receive my photo in frame properly prior to starting the call, but as soon as the call starts is zooms in gets method to close. I don't wish to sit 10 feet away from my smartphone just to fit in the screen. Seems to be an problem on both the smartphone and smartphone versions. Inspected with Nexus 7 (2013) and Galaxy Note 2.

A Google user: It's good to have an apk for Android device to comunicate with our videocom infraestructure, but I noticed a few issues: there isn't an option to close the apk. Also, it didn't work well with Polycom PVX PC tool: I should see PVX's camera but PVX couldn't see the tablet's camera. With the iPad ver, this trouble didn't occur.
