However this has some limitations you may not like: You cannot control melody playback from more than one remote at a time (which may be awesome since another family members can't clear your play queue by mistake), skipping songs using a hardware remote control won't work since only one song is in the Kodi queue. The unlocked ver has a feature to use the Kodi queue to bypass these limitations. - Playlists are not visible: In Kodi playlists must be in a unique folder. Some Kodi versions (e.g. raspberry pi) let scraping of media files without adding a source. Kodi will only let downloading/streaming media which is defined inside a source. Owen Phillis: Playlist control is a slash above the rest, but some easy features, such as excluding compilation artists are not here. Overall a nice remote. Edit: Both myself and the missus have the paid ver now - the on server playlist control is a dream to work with, wars ensue with the missus now though! On SGS1 running CyanogenMod's Jelly Bean, and stock SGS3. I'll be acquiring a smartphone soon as well, can't wait to see it on that. Bumped up to 5 stars, it's the best XBMC remote.

Donny Groulx: Best apk I have! Want list: The playlists don't seem to sync well between the server and the remote. I would like to see the playlists that live on the server accessible on the remote and vice versa. It would be nice if when multiple remotes are connected to the server, they should all sync up on the active playlist. Modernize! Just found out that after purchase of Unlocked the playlists sync the method I wanted!!! Well worth the purchase! Best XBMC remote out there!

Sebastien R: The gratis ver has no advertisements and has minor restrictions on melody streaming - all another features are fully functional. This apk easily trumps the official xbmc release by a LONG shot, has a slick interface that allows you to full control your media centre from smartphone or smartphone. Got the unlocker after using the apk for a couple of months. Recent ver supports chromecast but audio only. Love this apk.
