Remote HMI is an application for true time remote monitoring and control for the C-more HMI (Human Machine Interface) product line offered by Automationdirect.com. For this apk to function as designed, a C-more panel that supports remote connectivity is needed. Note: Necessary steps for improving the C-more remote Access Performance for the EA9 Series panels.1. Modernize the C-more EA9 Panel firmware to ver 6.31 or later.2. Create sure the C-more project display resolution is set for the native resolution of the C-more panel. This can be done in the programming tool under Panel Manager settings.3. See the apk note on the support.automationdirect.com web page for more info (Apk Note AN-EA-017).Main Features of this Apk.- Monitor and control screen operations of the C-more panel as if touching the panel itself- Players can save jpeg screen captures to review, email and print if required- The iPhone or apple Zoom feature allows the player to zoom in on specific objects on the screen and then save a screen capture if required- Multilevel Logon Safety offers three Remote Access player accounts that can be configured and stored in the panel project. Each acc allows up to five remote players to be connected simultaneously.- Multilevel Access Control allows each acc to be configured in one of the following levels of access. Full control access, View only access, View and Screen change only access- Player Access Control: Player Defined internal tags can be configured to customize the Remote access for each acc. These tags can be used to activate alarms, happenings or notifications to alert local operators that a remote player is connected. The Disable/Enable Tags can be assigned to a switch in the C-more project to let local operators the ability to enable or disable the remote access feature for safety or security reasons.• Although the Remote Access for the C-more panel can be configured with password safety, connecting the C-more panel on an Enterprise network or the Internet exposes safety risks. A safe and encrypted VPN connection is highly suggested if the C-more panel will be available from the Internet. A VPN (Virtual Personal Network) uses encryption and another safety mechanisms to ensure that only authorized players are allowed to connect and that the data cannot be intercepted. A VPN greatly reduces the chances of malicious behavior and unauthorized connections.

Larry McThompson: C-more Remote HMI It loads and then gives me a comm. Timeout and won't allow me go any further. I use a Samsung Galaxy S4. Another Android device players are experiencing the same response for the remote website I am trying to access. Players of IPhone are not having this trouble for the website. Once I am able to log and use the website, I promise a 5 star rating. Now it works good and will create my life so much easier. Thanks Automation Direct. I'm ecstatic!!!

Michael Laraway: Good apk- cannot live without it. My only feature request would be a method to export and send my device list. When I receive a fresh smartphone or want to share a connection with a coworker/client, I would love to be able to export the configuration so they should import it on their device.

andrew bremner: Awesome apk, although would be good if it supported FQDN rather than just ip addresses. We use DYNdns and its a pain to have to resolve the ip address first, edit the address in the apk and then connect

Oliver Strbik: No luck getting this to work From my Samsung S4 I can see the panel but when connecting it just wont connect. I am using the same logon user/password as when I connect over the intranet address (that works ok). I will test an Ipad but i really wpuld have liked this on an Android device.
