  A Google User: Fixes email app's ability to play wav files Thanks very much Yongtao Wang, your wav user solves the annoying problem of Android device Froyo breaking the Android device email app's ability to natively play wav files (worked in Eclair, broken in Froyo). Voicemail wav files failed to play after Froyo OS modernize. Remote Wave fixes the problem. The Google devs failed to answer to the ton of bug reports on the problem (and yes, iPhone's email apk natively handles wav files, Office files, and pdf files). iOS still kicks Android's butt; receive on the stick Google!

  Michael Jessing: First use so we'll see how it goes I've been trying to play my outlook vmails that are in my email and nothing would until I downloaded this! I've only inspected it w/a vmail someone forwarded to me but it played the file perfectly. It's good having Lync in Outlook since the vmail is a file along w/the transcription of the email but most of the time the transcription is 'off' so listening to the vmail is a must and until I downloaded this all the users on my smartphone would not play this wav file: until this apk!

  PERFECT!!!! The people that say that the play + exit button on the apk is gray, must be mentally handicapped. "YOU CANNOT OPEN APP BY ITSELF"... When you receive a notice on email, It will give you the option to begin notice with" THIS APP"..... PS... Maybe if your smartphone wasn't clamshell and/or you weren't mentally challenged, you'd figure it out... Go back to sleep!!!!
