With this application you can do primary day to day calculations used in retail stores such as Gross Markup Percentage, Retail Price, Percentage Increase (e.g.Taxes) or Percentage Decrease (e.g. Discounts), Unit Price conversions, Expiring dates (adding or subtraction days to/from a date. The gratis ver has no advertisements, no time expiration, but some of the features are limited. Basic Calculation ----------------------------- *12 digits *Add, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Percentages, Operation with Constants, *Memory functions (MRC,MS,M+,M-) *Recall any of the latest 10 results as part of another calculations *2 Various fonts *Decimal point or coma Special Modes ------------------------ *GM (Gross Markup Percentage) *%+- (Add,Subtract percentages) *UNTPRC (Unit Price conversions) *DATE (Expiration Dates calculation) Gross Markup Percentage (GM) ----------------------------------------------------- It calculates the Gross Markup Percentage used in the retail business: GM% = (RETAIL Price - COST) / RETAIL Price Giving any two values it calculates the third using this formula. After the initial calculation you can change any of the three values and the calculator will do a recalculation in this method: *> If the COST is changed, the GM% is assumed and the RETAIL is calculated. *> If the GM% is changed, the COST is assumed and the RETAIL is calculated. *> If the RETAIL is changed, the COST is assumed and the GM% is calculated. Useful when you use the COST and your target GM% to approx a RETAIL price, then change the RETAIL price accordingly with shop conditions and watch how this affect your GM%. Or to set your optimal GM% and RETAIL price to negotiate the COST with the vendor. Percentage +/- ------------------------- Increase (e.g. Taxes) or Decrease (e.g.Discounts) based in a percentage. The percentage can be setted up as a startup setting and it can be changed as need it. Unit Price ---------------- The Unit Price is calculated converting the item size to a standard measure unit, for example: if an item is sold in oz (ounces), the unit price is the price for a pound (lb) of this item. In some countries or states it is needed to present the Unit Price near the Retail price so the customer can compare it versus another related stuff in a various presentation. You can calculate the unit price for more than 20 troops conversions. The Troops list change to show the troops used the most on top. Dates ---------- Calculate expiring dates adding or subtracting days to a base date. Memory MRC,MS,M+M- functions Recall any of the latest 10 results. The calculator stores and keeps the las 10 results, and they can be recalled in two various methods: *> Recall just the effect from the memory ( to be used as part of other calculations) *> Recall the effect and restore the calculator to the mode and state on which the effect was obtained.
