About the application:

Welcome, pilot. You have been accepted into the RetroRocket Air Force, where it will be your job to take the helm of ships in our fleet of Tag 2 Orbital Freight Lander spacecraft and tutorial them remotely to secure landings at a dozens of spaceports on the outer moons of the solar system. Some landings will be straightforward, and some will be quite difficult. You will experience a dozens of gravitational and atmospheric conditions as well as some very awkwardly placed landing pads. Some ports are in disputed place and your lander may even be attacked in flight! * Begin as a 2nd Lieutenant and earn promotions up through the rank of General...and beyond. * Fly missions at over 100 various spaceports, each presenting a special challenge. * Earn up to 30,000 points and 5 stars for your piloting performance on each flight. You are scored according to flight time, fuel economy, and landing speed. * Every spaceport maintains its own global high score leaderboard as well as global leaderboards for shortest flight time, best fuel economy, and softest landing. There are over 400 various leaderboards for you to create a name for yourself on. * Earn RetroRocket credits by landing safely and gaining Achievements. Spend the credits loading out your lander spacecraft with strong equipment to assist you accomplish the more difficult missions. * Sync your mini game across multiple devices. * Play as a lot of mini games as you like at once, switch back and forth between them easily. * Select between right and left-handed controls. * Detailed guide and assist pages. * Very minimal advertisements that are mostly voluntary and can be skipped. RetroRocket was, of course, inspired by the 1970s "Lunar Lander" genre which included some of the earliest video mini games ever created. There have been a lot of perfect examples of the concept since then. RetroRocket takes an approach that emphasizes fun, non-frustrating arcade video test a tiny more than detailed physics simulation. You will probably be able to land your spacecraft beautiful well even if you're not a NASA trained astronaut. And we really wanted there to be wind in the mini game even if you don't really receive much of that on an airless moon. Leaderboards are a large deal in RetroRocket. Of course there's the typical Overall Score leaderboard that shows how your cumulative performance stacks up versus another pilots. But also each level has 4 leaderboards of its own: Best Score, Shortest Flight Time, Best Fuel Economy, and Softest Landing. This means you have quite a lot of chances to be recognized as one of the RetroRocket elite. If you're looking for fun, compelling, challenging (but not TOO challenging) modern-day Lunar Lander style arcade action with a lot of methods to receive rewarded (promotion, achievements, leaderboards, and credits) please give RetroRocket a test!
