About the application:

Calculate the ideal cooking time for roasting a joint of meat. Simply select the kind of meat, enter the weight in either Kilograms or Pounds and Ounces, press the calculate button and the apk will calculate the time required. Choose from a whole range of meats including beef, chicken and lamb. In addition for some meats there is the option to select rare, medium and well done. You can easily switch between Kilograms and Pounds and Ounces just be clicking on the weight switch. Cooking times may vary depending upon the oven used, the time calculated by the apk could be used as a tutorial only. The apk assumes the meat is fully defrosted and the oven is up to temperature before the cooking starts. It is up to the chef to ensure the meat is thoroughly cooked before serving and suggest using a digital thermometer is used to assist ensure this.
