  Loki Laufeyson: It connects with my Samsung S7 Active with no issues another than I do have to place it in airplane mode. Minor inconvenience, but worth it to connect to the Cam wirelessly. I'll rate this 5 stars once I receive the option to download the videos straight to my smartphone. Currently it downloads in the apk only. I wish to upload the videos to share, but I'd like to be able to edit out any filler beforehand. It has the option to upload straight to to YouTube but I don't wish a 3 min video for the 30 seconds of video I wish.

  Mohamed M.: Its a tiny tricky to connect to the cam, the best thing to do is turn airplane mode on your smartphone and then turn on just the wireless connection. U have to connect your phone's wireless connection to the Roav cam's wireless connection network. overall a awesome apk, I should see the videos easily once connected. Although, like others I don't see why gps access is important

  Sean Grant: Overall it's a awesome apk but I search the parking sensor settings incredibly annoying. I wish to leave the parking sensor switched on in case my vehicle is damaged when it's unattended in a vehicle park but the apk automatically locks every single video made by the parking sensor. You then have to manually delete each video, one at a time. There is no method to change this setting either so that it doesn't lock the videos

  Pierre Francoeur: Lots of improvement required: - Batch download - Improve wireless connection speed (might be impossible without changing hardware). It takes as long to download a video as to actually record it. So if you wish to record and download an half hour long ride, receive ready to wait for it. Also, it is so slow that it is impossible to stream a video from the device, even at the lowest resolution (720p, 30fps), it keeps buffering all the time - Power button to snap an emergency video. Using the little, almost invisible button just below the screen is almost impossible and quite risky while driving - Sort video in any type of meaningful method, you know, like date sorting would be the minimum...

  Dorian Pustina: Updated latest night, and stopped working. Crashes as soon as I test to begin. UPDATE: Apk now works. But the still need to create the main power button in the device lock the file. Using the invisible touch screen buttons to lock an happening is player unfriendly.

  Leonard DeJesus: Was able to connect without having to turn on Airplane mode, however I have to turn on WiFi on the camera, which is more cumbersome as you have to scroll through a couple of menus. On top of that, downloading videos is very slow. As others have mentioned, a batch download would be useful, but with the slow download, I would rather just pop out the SD card and pull from it directly. Lots of room for improvement.

When downloading you can see the transfer speed jump all over the put, seems to fail most of the time. Happens even when smartphone and camera are right next to each another.
