Romancing SaGa 2, originally released only in Japan in 1993, has been completely remastered and now receives its first ever official English translation! ■No two users will experience the story in the same way■ The SaGa series is one of Square Enix’s most beloved. The first three titles were originally branded overseas under the “FINAL FANTASY LEGEND” moniker , and garnered critical acclaim for their complex yet compelling combat system. Romancing SaGa 2 takes the varied video test of another entries in the series and combines it with an open-ended free-form scenario system whose story is as vast as the globe in which it plays out. The user takes the role of a succession of emperors, painting the history of the globe with each and every action. Familiar series hallmarks such as formations and glimmers create a return in this special title. ■Story■ It all begins with the song of a lone bard in a bustling pub. Great nations such as the Varennes Empire, which had once ensured peace throughout the globe, stagnated and atrophied over the course of centuries, and sinister forces started emerging in outlying areas. Ere long, peace spiraled into fight and the common folk spoke in hushed words of the Seven Heroes—historical figures who saved the globe once and who, it was hoped, would do so again. ■Additional Elements■ ▷New dungeons ▷New classes: diviner and ninja ▷New Game+ ▷Autosave ▷UI specifically designed for smartphones Android 4.2.2 or above recommended. Not compatible with all devices.

marcelotree g m a i l: It's a awesome time to be a Romancing SaGa fanatic! The first mini game was fanatic translated very recently and now we have the sequel in English (plus Romancing SaGa 3 is also in English.) The graphics are a giant improvement and we receive the extra content from the 2010 Japanese cellphone ver. What's there to think about, buy this already!

Pablo Escoto: Movement controls should be more responsive, but it does type of add to the challenge when you cant dodge wars easily. Translation should be a bit better in some parts as it does have typos. Non-linear video test, dozens of abilities and stupidly awesome melody, especially during the mini boss wars. Please squarenix release RS3 now!

Matt Kluck: This is an good makeover of a mini game that I had to use a fanatic translation for long ago. The 90s offered some of the most good Squeenix titles of all time. This is good and I hope that the FF Legends and RS3 are in the works for mobile devices as well.

Brian Howard: Just.... Wow. Before someone comes in whining about why a mini game involving heavy amounts of time and cash to make would cost 17 dollars, I wish to tell them: this mini game isn't for you. You will not understand, nor would this mini game likely be in your bag. If, however, you would like to finally play one of the best JRPGs to never be released in America, I'd like to happily reassure you: yes, it's as awesome as they say. If you played any of the Saga mini games and dug them, come on in!! Just hold the haters out.

Luis Valera: I have literally been waiting for this at least half of my life, I'm a large fanatic of the SaGa series and had always read this was the best one out of them all but I didn't know Japanese, so this is my possibility. Thank you Squeenix for this!

Basic: 5 stars just for releasing it! The Saga series is one of the most underated mini games and I'm glad it's getting it's time in the sun. Good job SE. Now release romancing saga 3 lol

Sean Peacock: I'm so satisfied that I can even play this mini game now since it's in English and accessible in the states. I've always been a fanatic of JRPG's for years and enjoyed Romancing SaGa on the PS2. After purchasing this over a year ago, I decided to begin playing it regularly recently. Be advised that you will not be playing as the same group of people throughout the mini game because it takes put over a lot of generations, like over 1,000 years. I'm getting near the end and so far, I'm getting my money's worth.

Christian Meade: If you like mini games like Final Fantasy from the SNES or before era, this mini game is likely up your alley. It is "harder" than another Final Fantasy mini games (although for the most part death is but a minor inconvenience), but quite fun. My only quarrel is the lack of a more comprehensive guide to explain the game's dynamics inside the mini game, some of which can have a large impact in it and not knowing them can reduce your odds of beating the it. That being said, there are plenty of tutorials, guides, and FAQs out there to assist you understand how items works.

Leonard Linus: Gotta love retro!

Richard Webster: I was reluctant to buy this mini game, but I'm glad I did. The controls aren't awful once you're used to them. It helps if you use directional drags (like a d-pad) and not so much place based presses. Mini game play is smooth and fun and the added content and graphical modernize really add to the mini game and its replay value. I highly suggest this title of you're a fanatic of this kind of mini game.

Vol Opt: Who the Hell is your provider? I only paid exactly $14.99 for this mini game. I wish to say, "Thank you very much, Square Enix, for taking the time to bring back this good RPG from the Super Famicom era!". The video test is perfect and feels like a real RPG, however, I'm not too fond of the Y's-style-run-into-an-NPC-automatic-interaction. I prefer to manually interact with the NPCs using the same kind of button as the Dash. I look forward to Romancing SaGa 3!

Micheal Willis: One of my favorite super famicon mini games. So glad it's on mobile

Dave Mongeni: I am not familiar with the series and this is my first mini game. I am blown away by this mini game. It is a completely various experience than what I am used to. The war system has a lot of depth for turn-based. The different mechanics are intriguing. The art design is vibrant. The on-screen controls are unobtrusive. Romancing SaGa is a good addition to anyone's library.

Tyler Wintringham: It's old school and to me, it's fresh. Because I wasn't a weirdo and didn't test to play it all those years ago when it wasn't in English.... Weirdos

KC: I'm stoked they finally translated this and created it accessible. It's been locked away in Japan for 23yrs! I'm just showing my help for bringing these beloved mini games to gamers outside Japan. Kudos to you, SQEN.

Jack Albanese: Controls are just ok. Just because this runs on Android device devices doesn't create this a fast-paced mini game. This isn't a mini game to rush through - it's a real gem from the developers. I want I'd known about this series a long time ago (as a child I played FF3(us) aka FF6, Secrets of Mana & Evermore, and Chrono Trigger on the SNES. Those were/are my favorite single user mini games of all time, even after being a committed 'gamer' for the two decades to follow their release). The video test has the nostalgic charm (npc's walk in put, fun cutscenes, content drips in smoothly as heroes develop, and the townsfolk - the townsfolk!!). It also has a fresh level of difficulty and excitement - heroes have their own proper life points that can run out, so they can die permanently - there's also so much nonlinear content in this mini game - it's really hard to trust that it preceded some of the another trailblazing titles I mentioned. You can discover the globe all you wish (like an open-world mini game kind of experience if you have fun those). If your party gets wiped out, you might not be able to return to where you were so easily in the future. It's beautiful good. Don't hack with walkthroughs. Give it a shot. Just don't rush through it. The controls are completely workable if you pay attention to them. Also, save often!! But if your party gets wiped out, test to receive yourself to take the possibility to rebuild your party from the ground up (instead of reloading your file) - this is a really special feature that sets this mini game apart!!

Kevin Barnett: Never played any of the Saga mini games before. But I have to say this is well worth the cash. I hope, SE localises the another Saga mini games! My only complaint is with the touchscreen controls, I hope this will be fixed in the future. Because as is, everything is a tiny too sensitive.

N T: I had played the original on SFC in childhood and very glad to see it remastered now and in Eng which is better for me to understand the storyline. A bit disappointing though the hero sprites look stiff and lifeless (saved awkwardly for few random opponents which have motion during the war). And well, as others have commented, the UI n control sucks. Nevertheless, I stand by the 5 star rating for this epic mini game.

Zhiming Teo: After my feedback to the squad, square has fixed the cloud sync problem. I can now finally play it on my shield TV!

Elliott Wu: I have been waiting for this mini game for 23 years. I played it when it originally came out on the SFC in 1993. And through the years I replay it at least once a year in Japanese. Today, a 23 year wait is over. Some advices for fresh users to the series: receive magic research center up early. You need 25 mp on your emperor and 1m in coins. Also, the best weapons are generally found but the best armor is generally created.

Reximus Maximus: Never played the original and now I can't wait for 3 to come out. Love everything but the controls when moving. If they were more reactive like some of the FF remakes or at least were more sensitive to directional movement - the mini game would be phenomenal. Should just be on my LG G6 though.

Mark Wong: I've waited for an English ver of this mini game for 20 years.
