Rommel and Afrika Korps is a turn based tactic mini game which takes put in the North African theater during the Second Globe War. After the Italian forces collapse in the North Africa, German HQ sends in German reinforcements - led by the popular Desert Fox Erwin Rommel. Soon German Africa Corps (known in Germany as Deutsches Afrikakorps, or DAK) springs from assumed defensive setup to a lighting quick attack across the barren desert place. In spite of serious logistics challenges caused by the over-extended supply lines, Rommel manages to threaten the British strongholds of Cairo and Alexandria. During the North African desert campaign both sides are forced back and forth a few times, but eventually the Axis supply troubles combined with Allied aerial superiority spell the end of Axis journey in Africa. Can you do better? If you wish to try the mini game mechanics of Rommel and Afrika Korps, a gratis 15-turn ver of Rommel & Afrika Korps is accessible http://bit.ly/17cnu8R FEATURES: + Historical accuracy: Campaign mirrors the historical setup, including some of the similar happenings, as Operation Flipper, Bardia Raid, sand storms, less than excellent collaboration with Italian army. + Experienced troops learn fresh skills, like improved attack or defense performance, additional move points, hurt resistance, etc. + Settings: Different options are accessible to alter the look of the gaming experience: Change difficulty level, hexagon size, Animation speed, select icon set for troops (NATO or REAL) and cities (Round, Shield, Square, block of houses), decide what is drawn on the map, and much more. Supply Guidelines: To hold your armored and motorized divisions on the move you must use Fuel Trucks to transport fuel from Fuel Depots to front line troops. Fuel Depots can be refueled only from El Agheila (infinite amount) or Tobruk (limited amount). Meanwhile only El Agheila and Benghazi provide meal supply, so troops must have a route to either of these cities after the British forces have moved. How to Victory: In order to be a victorious general, you must learn to coordinate your attacks in two methods. First, as adjacent troops give help to an attacking unit, hold your troops in groups in order to gain local superiority. Secondly, it is rarely the best idea to use brute force when it is possible to encircle the opponent and slash off its supply lines instead. Privacy Policy (full text on site and apk menu): No acc creation is possible, the made-up username used in the Hall of Fame listings is not tied to any acc and does not have password. Place, private, or device identifier data is not used in any method. In the case of crash the following non-personal data is sent (vie web-form using ACRA library) to let fast fix: Stack trace (code which failed), Name of the Apk, Ver number of the Apk, and Ver number of the Android device OS. The apk only requests the permissions it needs to function. Conflict-Series by Joni Nuutinen has offered highly rated Android-only tactic board mini games since 2011, and even the first scenarios are still actively updated. The campaigns are based on the time-tested gaming mechanics TBS (turn-based tactic) enthusiasts are familiar with from both the classic PC fight mini games and legendary tabletop board mini games. I wish to thank the fanatics for all the well thought-out recommendations over the years which have allowed these campaigns to improve at a much higher rate than what any solo indie developer should dream of. If you have feedback about this board mini game series please use email, this method we can have a constructive back and forth chat without the limits of the store's comment system. In addition, because I have large number of projects on multiple stores, itβs just not sensible to spend handful of hours each day going through hundreds of pages spread all over the Internet to see if there is a question somewhere -- just send me an email and I will receive back to you. Thanks for understanding!

Kevin Pietersen: This mini game definitely gives a lesson in "Amateurs do strategies, specialists do logistics" 10/10 for capturing the essence of the Desert campaign.

Jim McLaughlin: For the tactic mini game user these mini games are quite awesome and in a lot of methods seem to play out like the true campaign. A couple of recommendations: 1. Add an option to "send" a unit to a point on the map (within controlled place) such as supply trucks and fuel depots. That method you don't have to play them every turn if they are simply going back over controlled place for replenishment and return. Playing each unit every turn gets cumbersome when the unit must travel from Tobruk to Alexandria. 2. Air Recon option for air troops. to search opponent troops. 3. Allow troops arrive at Tobruk after port is captured. 4. Possibly allow an out of fuel tank unit set up a static defense with bunker options. Finally, one little bug I've found is that if an armor unit runs out of fuel and attack points it seems to be able to keep off allied infantry troops of far superior strength. Each turn it loses the war and you can see "retreat command" but the unit stays and isn't destroyed. I discovered this accidentally on my second mini game when a unit got caught out in the desert. I placed 2 mine fields, one on either side, and held off the whole Brit Troops in this place until I got a fuel truck there. Jim

Lee Leinweber: I've read an terrible lot about this campaign & this mini game nails it. Those beloved fuel trucks arriving JUST in the nick of time...I can almost feel myself choking on the dust they kick up. I picture those @#$*&% British "Desert Rats" tooling around my supply lines, wreaking occasional havoc. Victory high score or not, this is by far the most engaging wargame I've played since the Avalon Hill version.Kudos sir!

Elliot King: The creator seems to be getting better with each mini game that he creates. This one should use a better method of identifying Germans and Italians but overall a solid mini game.

SterlingVA Lynner: Afrika Korps was a good mini game. The handling of supply gave just enough frustration for historical verisimilitude.

George Ross: A medium-complexity wargame, this is a good take on the African campaign. With a ruthless AI, a fragile supply system, and plenty of semi-scripted surprises (most of them ruining your plans), it's challenging and will force you to think and rethink your tactic. Even on normal difficulty, the mid-game is tough. Sooner or later, you will face a decisive war versus an opponent that outnumbers you. Victory it, and you will roll over the rest of Monty's forces with ease. Lose it, and watch your fight collapse.

Chip Stockton: Good fun, and you learn so much in the process! Search out why the fabled Desert Fox, German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, had such a hard time trying to defeat British Egypt! Move limited but strong combat forces across the desert, all the while maintaining a tenuous supply line of scarce and precious fuel. Buy this mini game, you won't be sorry!!!

Steve Midgley: Very replayable

Max Strong: This is one of the best in the series! The supply guidelines create the mini game a true challenge. So how about we venture to the Pacific next? Burma or Guadalcanal anyone?

Joseph Rochford: The best mini game yet. A lot of action. Supply and resting troops is critical. I really would like to see a naval mini game next. How about Jutland?

Gabster: Rommel&AK is by far the best in the series and that from me who thought Eastern Front might never be bested. R&AK has good fresh angles like coastal raids, piggy-back fueling, airport jumping and better place of control.

A Google user: ROM & AK is one of the best mini games accessible on the subject. I do not mean just for Android device. I've played almost every North Africa fight mini game in board and PC format. This is my favorite.

A Google user: There are no frills here, just a solid classic wargame that harkens back to the days of SPI and Avalon Hill. You are Rommel, battling the AI CW all the method to Cairo. The AI gives a credible performance - the aggressiveness of its troops is tempered somewhat by their proclivity place themselves out of supply. You do spend a fair amount of time moving supply trucks around, but that's fight in the desert for you. Fuel powers everything, and British commandos and raiders can create you hit the fresh mini game button in a hurry as you watch your depots burn. There is no save mini game or undo function, so your decisions are final. I want the terrain graphics were better, but at least there are plenty of options. Some type of primary sounds would be nice too, and better documentation. Still, 5 stars for one of the best wargames on Android device.

R Shin: Good simulation

Sean Winkel: Most addictive installment in the series. I haven't gotten much further than Tobruk, but this is the first one where the supply problems feel organic and strategically correct. We now need A NAVAL INSTALLMENT?!?! Please? Don't allow DK beat you! How about Tsushima, Guadalcanal or Leyye Gulf? Or (please) Trafalgar? Or a comprehensive Napoleonic naval campaign ??? Like Eastern Front? You are the man to do it!

David Beatty: This is a good mini game that accurately reflects the fight in North Africa. Very well done Joni! Any possibility to see a PC/Linux ver?

David Cooper: An perfect and absorbing mini game that really captures the logistics and seesaw campaigns of North Africa. Joni's design work is masterful.

Peter Milsom: Awesome hex turn-based mini game. Periodic updates, that are well thought out and generally enhance play. you are buying not just the mini game, but a rolling improvement tool to go with it. You can even recommend enhancements to the developer. Of course, you can't buy win by purchases, so this is a mini game for proper strategists, not rich spoilt brats. I have now bought a second mini game from the same developer (The American Civil Fight mini game), and although the mechanics are a tiny various in each, they are both gorgeous!
