Buy your tickets – as simple as 1-2-3. Ruter's mobile apk lets you buy your ticket before you receive on board. The apk is valid on the Metro, buses, trams, ferries and trains in Oslo and Akershus. RuterBillett requests access permission to the following functions: - Read smartphone status and identity: Used to protect your ticket from counterfeiting by linking it to your phone's special ID. RuterBillett does not have access to create smartphone calls. - Access precise place (GPS and network-based) Used in connection with ticket purchases, so that RuterBillett can automatically recommend a ticket based on the place in which you are located. You can still purchase a ticket even if the place function is turned off, but you must manually enter the stop or station from which the ticket will apply. - Keep data from internet: Used to facilitate communication with Ruter's ticketing system when purchasing and downloading tickets to your mobile. - Receiving data from the internet: Used when receiving error messages and info from Ruter's ticketing system. - View network connections Used during rapid receipt of error messages if the network goes down. This is to enable the customer to receive quick notification and not to have to wait for an unnecessarily long time. - Run from start-up/Autostart from start-up: Used to send notifications when tickets and payment cards expire. - Prevent the smartphone from sleeping Used to safeguard communication between your smartphone and Ruter's ticketing system. - Control of vibration function/vibrator: Enables vibration on notifications. - Read synchronisation settings: Used to ensure that period tickets are updated automatically with a control code and today's picture. - Use fingerprint hardware To use fingerprint as an alternative to password. - Read your contacts Used when sending tickets to smartphone numbers stored in your contacts. - Control near field communication Used when reading the content of a travel card. Fredrik Rydland: Veldig enkel å forstå. Jeg har bl. a hørt at en mann i 60-åra som aldri har brukt en smarttelefon klarte å kjøpe billett uten problemer. Kjøp billett fra "næverende lokasjon" er veldig kjekt for man trenger kun å fylle ut hvor man skal. Støtter også eksportering til av kvittering til mail. Designet er også veldig pent.

Bjarte Aune Olsen: Appen er super så lenge den virker, men er littegrann buggy. Som noen andre nevner her, ville det vært bra om billetten faktisk lå hos Ruter og ikke bare på telefonen, slik at ikke billetten blir borte når man går tom for strøm. I tillegg er den litt rar når man starter opp første gang. I prosessen med å legge inn kredittkort blir appen nullstilt hvis man går til en annen apk underveis, noe som er naturlig å gjøre når man skal kopiere kredittkortnummeret sitt og lime inn i appen.

Alf Thomas Nilsen: Den eldgamle måten å kjøpe billetter på er nå et fjernt minne (heldigvis). Hvorfor noen Osloboere eventuelt skulle velge å ikke bruke denne appen er for meg en gåte. Med varsling om at billett utløper er nå håndtering av månedsbilletten redusert til å taste et passord én gang i måneden. I tillegg kan jeg kjøpe enkeltbilletter til familie hvis de kommer på besøk. Alt uten å måtte bruke billettautomater som stort sett ikke fungerer.
