  John Lewis: The developers of this product have provided a awesome updated apk which gives the player greater control over the camera. The fresh option to have no sleep time after motion has been detected has certainly improved the usability of the camera meaning it does not miss any action - obviously this may have an affect on battery life depending on where it is looking / how much action there is. The system obviously relies on a awesome Wi-Fi connection between the router and the cameras sitting place. I receive connection to the front and back of the house but not the side (too a lot of walls) The live view now connects virtually every time and notifications are being received upon movement. I'm sure the developers will continue to create this even more player friendly.

  Colin Jones: Really satisfied with the camera's operation, the only negative things are recordings only go for 1 mins at the most, usually a lot less. If you choose an option to have 1, 2,3,4,5 min recordings this would be excellent camera setup for all players. (I understand this will reduce the batterys over all on time before needing charging) but hey it's nice to have the option. The another thing is one of the camera's in the 2 camera set takes a very long time to charge and drains quite quickly. Where the another camera does not..? (using a 1.5A charger)

  Michael Gardner: Simple to set up, just required some patience while it connected. Video quality is good, and I receive notifications and recordings every time someone walks in front of it. Awesome easy apk, maybe lacking a few options in configurability. In particular not being able to receive rid of the sleep period altogether was a bit annoying as others have mentioned. Overall awesome but looking forward to the updates promised.

  Craig Hall: So frustrating, camera quality is good but the apk is very primary for the cost of these troops. You can't mount them on the ceiling because there is no "flip photo" option to hang them upside down, no option to override the IR illumination so can't have them looking out through glass at night, no scheduled armed/disarmed times and no ability to choose movement detection places. All these options are accessible on my 4 year old $80 dlink unit

  Gareth Manton: Takes a long time to live view! Didn't pair first time. Glitchy apk zooming in it returns to left of screen automatically. Nightvision adjustment would be awesome .This will all be fixed in later releases I am sure.

  Matt Zurmuehlen: The apk works awesome as does the camera. Simple setup. A few things I would like to see changed in the apk. The ability to flip the camera view so it can be mounted upside down, the ability to record full time, and for the camera to be able to be connected to power full time while outdoors if you wanted to.

  Derek Prempeh: This product has so much potential but just not quite there yet! Pros: 1. Perfect picture quality 2. Gratis cloud storage and built in hard drive 3. Simple to mount. Cons: 1. Appears to default to 5ghz wireless connection band if you are running both 2.4 and 5ghz. No method of deciding frequency on unit which to use - this is important if you only have one SSID (virgin superhub 3). Had to turn off my 5ghz signal on the modem in the end and the unit has since worked much better on the 2.4ghz band as range much better for outdoor use. This is an oversight on Swanns part i trust and contributing to the product not working for a lot of due to inferior range....2.4ghz bandwith is more than suffice and range is much better. 2. You will still likely require a wireless connection range extender as wireless connection pick up on the unit isnt good. The unit requires over 50% strength for reliable Live Feeds - I had to buy one! 3. This probably could be no.1 - unit ridiculously seems to record no more than 10 seconds of video even when motion ongoing and in most cases records for just 5 secs. I was considering returning the product this very weekend for this reason alone but see Swann are actually responding to comments on here and have promised some type of modernize to resolve this so may keep out. 3. Too slow to react to motion and heat sensor touted on the box is rather dubious as appears to add no value whatsoever. Happenings are often over before recording begins (all 5 seconds of it :-) 4. Apk should be improved so that activities are prioritised within menu 5. Recording live view not possible (laughable (if it didnt cost £150 for the single unit)) though Swann say they will address this. I have given this unit a 3 star rating based on 2 reasons alone, the photo quality (when its finally up and running) and Swann's apparent interest in the feedback given on here and a promise to patch these problems via updates. I wouldnt right it off completely just yet after all it is completely wireless and the tournament isnt that good either, worse in some cases.

  Mick Carson: I bought a two camera package (white eggshell kind design). After one hour in trying to receive one of the cameras working on my Android device smartphone without results, I gave up and returned them to the shop. Too difficult to understand the instructions, even though I know beautiful well how to set secondary wireless devices in my network, this has been one hour of a very confusing and time wasting attempt to see a video photo on the smartphone and never been able to do it. Why? Because the tiny paper strip instructions aren't enough, nor explains what to do next. Manufacturers think people are very brainy to be able to figure out how to set up something with lesser instructions, the rest is for the customer to search out. Well, I found out all right, I returned them back to shop and to hell with Swanny.

  Michael Ott: Set up was relatively painless with the exception of attempting to restart my password which was a usability nightmare, but I won't go into detail here. On the topic of usability, the apk has a long method to go. Here's my problems: 1) Deleting videos is a painful experience, forcing you to begin each video one at a time and then hitting the delete option. There needs to be a method to 'choose all' and delete with a single action. 2) The device tool back button is completely ignored for some mysterious reason. 3) Sometimes I see the icon that indicates a weak WIFI signal, even when the camera is only a few meters away with direct line of website to the modem (my modem is not a lousy consumer grade model but rather an expensive option with extended WIFI strength). 4) This one is unforgivable: When scrolling down the settings UI, if your finger touches any of the interactive slider controls the settings will be applied to wherever your finger happened to be at the time. I was completely baffled as to why my settings were changing all the time, and by possibility I discovered this was the reason. Needs work.

  App Yosua: Requires this apk to setup the camera, needs to make an acc and email verification which never arrived. Clicked resend email a lot of times and apk stopped responding. 4 cameras useless because an email never arrived, what a joke.

  Gary Hanson: Unfortunately I think I will be taking the cameras back. The live feed never works . I am always informed of motion being detected,but nothing shows up . It's not even saving anything in the back up on the cameras. I went out and bought a router booster as this was suggested. Which cost a additional £50 on top of the £300 spent on the cameras. I definitely would not suggest this product. I am so disappointed with it. I shouldn't of been such a tight git and just bought wired cameras.

  Anthony Morton: I bought this system and from the word go had no end of issues. One of the cams wont evan work after we placed it. The another 2 cams takes up to nearly 4 minute plus to give a live stream, If a stream at all. The motion decector is spot on. But only records for a few seconds. And can not change the names or anything eles in the settings very disapointted and feel like ive been robbed of £400

Dont know if it works, dont know what to do next...return the camera to store i guess..rubbish, more expense

  David G Graham: What a load of junk. Do not buy the camera with this apk. Apk on android device 7 would not pair camera to my Telstra Wi-Fi network. Swann help level 1 took 2 hours and achieved nothing. Level 2 help then started exactly same process. They had no idea how to diagnose pairing trouble. Case No's 1142461. I wish to return for refund but swann will only replace referring me to retailer. Swann never once more. UPDATE. Started new using wife's galaxy s5mini with updated to Android device 6,0.1 And installed apk with fresh acc and fresh verification. It paired this smartphone and without pairing my numo s30 mini it too works using my wife's acc. A true puzzle, but I know it was not me. Rating for this apk stays at zero. UPDATE 2. This morning camera asleep. Will not go live. This is not fit for purpose. Safety device a joke.

  Claire Horridge: Absolutely awful. I bought the 2 camera safety system but I cannot even download the apk as it keeps saying theres an problem! I've phoned swann twice which got me nowhere. I'll be returning the system back tomorrow and purchasing a more reliable system. I could of read the reviews first!

How ever the apk is complete and utter rubbish, seems as though if you wish to view live video you may as well go into the room to see what's event as the apk never loads up, you receive plenty of recorded videos to view but live........ Forget it, if I knew how awful the apk was before I paid £400 for the cameras I would never have gone near it, I hope and pray people ignore the awesome reviews as in my opinion they are mates of the manufacturers or staff or fake. Utter shite.
