  Mykola Parkhomenko: Flexible settings, yet simple and does job well. Best for anchorage task. Various from another related apks is that you can set it up after an anchor ⚓ is out. Allows to adjust anchor bearing, distance, danger sector, etc. I used it since 3 years and it works well. Minus one star 🌟 because to have a sound 🔊 alarm, one must hold smartphone in non-silent modus. So if I turned off sound for the night, apk would not wake you up, like normal alarm ⏰ clock 🕒 does. Once this tiny inconvenience is fixed, I'd give 5 ✨.

  katherine ulriksen: Thanks for fixing the below. We're now using the apk for awesome. 5 stars. BTW, the 2-star rating was not a method of pushing; it was because, as stated, the apk was not usable (at least for us). It has flaws that makes it useless. Until they are fixed, two stars it is. Here's the anecdotal story that illustrates the point: we set an anchor alert with SailSafe on my smartphone to call other smartphone, and went ashore. When we came back to the boat my smartphone had been alerting for hours that there was no GPS signal. There are a few issues with this: 1. When the GPS signal is lost, it's not the end of the globe. The signal will come back. The apk could wait a configurable number of mins before alerting.  2. If the apk alerts on GPS signal lost anyway, it could shut up and go back to work once the signal is back. It doesn't. 3. If the apk alerts on GPS signal lost, it could also call the emergency smartphone. It doesn't. 4. The alarm could shut up after a configurable number of mins. No need to annoy the boat cat for hours if we are not onboard. In addition, the apk could alert even if the smartphone is in 'do not disturb' mode. To the author: please fix these problems and create your apk good. [Written at 3am after other "GPS signal lost" alarm.]

  Doug Purdy: Works well Awesome Apk. Needs a few choices for alarms. Siren gives you a heart attack. Also needs a button to push when you drop your anchor so you don't have to estimate it's place later. Like being able to set a swing range.

  Nick Kleeman: Good in some scenarios A good alarm for when you're on the boat. The emergency call option is a awesome idea, but it doesn't link well with hangouts or Skype. I can't receive it to create calls over data from my smartphone. It opens the apk but doesn't automatically create the call.

  Janaki Lennie: Would have been five stars but no vessel position history (snail trail) is a bummer. I found that VERY useful on my iPhone apk. BTW there is no method an apk like this can have nautical charts. Apart from the cost the liability problems are large.

  Al Stu: Want I had this earlier After spending a night watching that the boat keep position on a stormy night, it finally dragged anchor. This would have helped. Would be nice if it used Begin Road Maps because there often is no network connection. Also would prefer the defined place to be a straight line (instead of an arc and a circle) as that better describes most shores.

  Marco Guidi: I like generally the apk but sometimes lose the GPS signal and i am not reable to receive it once more until i reset the smartphone. Thats meaning also to lose the initial position. I would love to have possibility also to input manually coordinate. Can you modernize this feature?

  the apk is awesome but it uses an ordinary land map not sea charts. l can't search the exact position on a map... the sea is all blue, no contours or depth. As such I feel it is only half as awesome as it should be. I shall use it until I search one with charts not maps.
