Salesforce Authenticator adds an additional layer of safety for your online accounts with two-factor authentication. With Salesforce Authenticator, you use your mobile device in addition to your password to verify your logins and another acc activity. The apk sends you a push notification, and you answer with just a tap. For even more convenience, Salesforce Authenticator can use your mobile device's place services to verify automatically from trusted places, like your office or home. You can also receive a verification code when you need one. Salesforce Authenticator works with the entire Salesforce Platform—Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget), Apk Cloud, and Analytics Cloud—as well as third-party services that use OATH tokens. Salesforce Authenticator also supports "old school" two-step authentication on Fb, Google, Outlook, Dropbox, Evernote, or anything marked "Tool Implementation" at http://twofactorauth.org.

Matt Lievertz: I like the pop-up notification ver of mfa verification that this provides. I only use this for salesforce so I can't comment on broader integration, but for that usage it is easy and simple against manually opening an authenticator apk, mentally gauging time remaining, and then reading and typing a code.

Michael Jewell: Recent ver says that I have a screen overlay running, and won't allow me click "let". I use twilight overnight, but close it during the day (not paused, closed). The only thing running is LastPass, which I cannot pause.

Joshua Jackson: The best This is the best two factor authentication apk for one reason which is that it allows you to backup your codes so if you have to restart your smartphone or receive a fresh one you no longer have to set all your codes back up once more. In addition it can be used to generate codes for anything that the Google authenticator can be used for
