  A Z: Finally, android device! Took a long time to do a firmware modernize to the lock (took 2 tries). I have it set to auto lock, I can begin it when I receive home, grab groceries and receive inside and the door locks itself.

  Bradley David: Google Pixel XL (Android device Oreo 8.0.0). Getting the lock to pair for the first time is a pain. I must have entered in my Programming Code and pulled the battery out from the lock a half-dozen times before my smartphone paired. However, once it does pair and the recent firmware is applied, pairing and communication with the lock is a snap. It's almost there, so hold up with the improvements, Developers. BTW, registering the lock from the apk, I cannot submit my registration form.

  Krista Mikulski: Overall, I love everything that I can do from the apk, although I would like an unlock/lock widget. And it doesn't like really communicating between my S8+ and the lock. Took two tries to receive the firmware modernize, and a couple tries to connect and it kept saying it failed, although the lock finally showed up in the apk. Also sometimes takes a few tries to connect when I'm right next to the lock. I'm optimistic and trust they'll work out the bugs!

  Arnold Chan: Fresh comment. Lower rating to 2 stars. It could be a easy apk with reliable performance. Still it should be do any push FW make batter, saying the FW cannot be pushed to the lock. Notification is till after hit or miss. It seems to be working only if the apk is running in the background. Recently the lock status "unlocked" or "locked" is not correct, which could be the core feature... the lock is locked but the apk shows unblock. ----- Earlier comment... It did not went well and should not pass initial setup and critical FW make batter. Had to use a iPhone apk to receive pass that point. But after that it works awesome. Just wondering if there is any push notification feature if it is unblock by some specific players rather than getting notifications for all lock/unlock activities

  For those having problem connecting their Android device to the locks bluetooth. I had to use an Apple product to connect to the locks bluetooth first. Then modernize the firmware on the lock. Then you will be able to connect to an Android device device. However I still can't receive the wireless connection adapter to stay connected for more than a couple mins.

  Mr Wednesday: Severe connection issues on Android device. Absolutely no problems on Ipad or IPhone though. Just went through other firmware. Android device seems to be connecting properly now.

  Austin Rudd: AWFUL connection with the lock via my android device device. Bought it for the fact that I should manage the lock with my apk and it's almost completely useless. It won't connect. Shame on Schlage for selling a product that doesn't work as advertised. Schlage needs to create this right. A firmware modernize would be greatly appreciated.

  Ed MacConnell: Will not sync. Worked with old schlage connect tool but it's no longer accessible. Fresh smartphone = fresh lock from other manufacturer. I'm using a note 8 and previously worked with a note 4

  Brian Madrid: Fine, the apk is totally useless for syncing with a smartphone, i tried android device, iphone (2 phones & 2 tablets) what i did search is that if you press schlage ->programming code->0 and do a find (add fresh device) on smart things it registered with smartthings (which is originally what i wanted), Alexa still is locked out from unlocking the door by voice. I have a Schlage Camelot Connect
