  Serguei Patchkovskii: Barely usable, shame on the developer For the android device face of the premier scientific journal, this apk is ridiculously awful. For example, it has no method to navigate to a specific article or journal page!? If you stop reading halfway through an problem, the ONLY method to continue is to flick through ALL the preceding pages. The apk does not remember where you stopped, either. Furthermore, if you switch away to a various apk (e.g. to check your email), half of the time this apk just hangs and needs to be killed manually. The zoom function is barely usable either; it keeps resetting page position when you receive close to the page edge and resets to full page view if screen is rotated. Oh, and there are no bookmarks, either. If I wrote an apk like this one, I'd be ashamed of myself.

  Asier Zubiaga: We need a better apk to have fun this good magazine! Modernize: The apk stopped working in Nexus 7 after the latest modernize. The list of unresolved issues remains large but there are no solutions coming from the developers. It is frustrating. Older Comments: The apk stopped working in my nexus 7 with android device 5. This goes on top of all the problems remarked by another players, like the incapacity to jump smoothly to the desired article, the difficulty to go through the pages quick or not being able to zoom in.

  Richard Robinson: Hard work Science is a good journal but this apk doesn't do it any favours. I use a 10 inch smartphone but the pages won't expand to full width in landscape mode so I have to read it in portrait mode and then drag the page around to follow the text. Tables are therefore very difficult to read. Added to which I have to shrink the page once more before I can move to the next page. And sometimes pages don't load. If you're very patient and don't mind risking a headache, use the apk. Grrr.

  Richard Stanton: One of the poorest apks out there and been that method for long time Does not download problems in background. Can not delete read problems to gratis place. Stops working frequently and then fixing takes a long time (as far as I can tell weeks or months) clearly ease of access is not a priority for aaas as this has gone on for years.

  Michael Mckenna-Mattiaccio: Can you please place me in touch with the apk development squad? I currently have a Digital subscription but the Android device apk is so awful that I often just read from my mother's Print subscription instead. The Android device apk is almost entirely useless in Fresh York because it requires an internet connection to function, even after the Problem has been downloaded to the device. If I test to use the apk on the subway, sometimes I lose the ability to read entirely until the next subway stop. Another times I can continue to read, but the apk refreshes the page when a fresh internet connection is established, disrupting my reading. In all cases the apk lacks primary features like proper zoom, highlighting, remembering the page, jumping to certain pages, linking like a PDF, etc. It is time for me to renew my subscription I would like to have a Digital subscription, but only if there are plans to improve the Android device apk. Otherwise I will be forced to slay trees to read Science. Can you please place me in touch with the apk development squad? I am a tool engineer myself so I can take this conversation to a technical level with them. Thank you. P.S The apk requires a Digital subscription, Print won't work

  John West: Poorly done Have the developers of this apk never heard of background downloading? Downloading an problem requires keeping the problem in the foreground and not letting the smartphone go to sleep. If you have multiple problems to download, you have to do them one at a time, waiting for each to complete. I wondered where the MS-DOS developers went... Also page turning is difficult, font isn't adjustable, no method to clean up storage, generally this apk is a nightmare of awful practices.
