  Norman Lau: Another screen-off apks lock the smartphone and I need to use fingerprint to unblock even if I have trusted device. This apk does not require me to use fingerprint to unblock the smartphone. Actually I installed both: this one and one that locks smartphone.

  A Google user: I tried another apks to turn my screen off but they all had clunky configuration screens or unnecessary animations. This is simply an icon you press to turn your smartphone off. Test the trial first to see if it's what you wish too!

  Al Brettnell: Does exactly what it says - turns the screen off. Another apks turn the screen off and lock the smartphone - but this one does not auto-lock, which is very nice, because on Marshmallow, with the 'stay unlocked when a trusted device is connected' this apk does not interfere with that. The smartphone will auto-lock shortly after the screen is off (using the power button or this apk) if my trusted device is not connected. This apk is a real replacement for the power button to quickly turn off the smartphone display and not interfere with the auto-lock settings in Android device.

  Seth Brundle: Works perfectly with my Nexus 6p. Turns the screen "off" but does not interfere with any screen locking mechanisms. For the idiots complaining that it is not locking the screen, that's the whole point. If you wish to lock your screen there are hundreds of gratis apks for that.

  phil haque: Perfect apk for when you wish to dim the screen, (to save battery), with the ability to turn the screen back on without the power button (LG G5 is on the back so when in a vehicle dock, not possible). Double tap to turn screen on so it's where you left it would be awesome. Currently using the "recents" button pressing twice to achieve this. If it's a chance, please add this. A lot of thanks Dev 😀

  Gregory J Silva: Face it, the Shield with all it's controls on the pad, it is still easier to use the touch screen for some inputs. That means fingerprint and smuts on that good display. With this key, you can shut off the display for a awesome micro cloth rubdown then hit the home button and you're back in business. Works good on my HTC One M8 too!

  A Google user: This is a awesome fit for the Samsung S7 edge if you wish to use fingerprint unblock with a screen off apk. There is a delay of about 5 secs before the always on screen comes up but then the fingerprint unblock works without having to use pin or pattern, awesome trade off, in my opinion. Worth getting the Pro ver.
