  Darren Fitzgerald: Been using this apk on my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, works good with my SDR dongle. Steve Fury posted that you are unable to switch channels quickly, this is not the case. There is an JUMP button that allows you to manually enter the frequency you wish to go to. Going to pick up a smartphone as I would like to see this on a larger screen.

  A Google user: Works perfectly on my Galaxy Tab. Lower noise using rtl-sdr with this compared to laptop. My only complaint is that adjusting filter width and changing frequency can be frustrating at times - one happens when I meant to do the another. Hold up the good work!

  A Google user: What a good piece of tool. Once you understand everything, it works as designed. I even have remote via TCP working. There are a few bugs in the tool that need fixing, unfortunately the author does not answer to emails. Devices: Nexus 10.1Tab Galaxy Note 3 Both running Kitkat

  A Google user: I have a feature request for SDR Touch. It would be handy to be able to turn demodulation off. The reason is that signal demod accounts for a really big portion of CPU load in an SDR apk. This is helpful for apks like scanning spectrum for activity but not actually listening to signals. RF Analyzer has this capability and I would search it helpful in SDR Touch as well. It's a terrific apk! Thanks for your contributions to the radio arts.

  Justin Searle: Been using this apk for years now. By far the best SDR I've found for Android device. It is the only RTL-SDR apk I've found in the Google Play Shop that is actively maintained with a multi-year track record. There are occasional glitches, but I've never found anything that prevents the use of the apk. I'm satisfied to pay for such an apk.

  A Google user: The apk is perfect, works perfectly and 100% with my Lg G2, Android device Lollipop 5.02 & RT820T2 usb dongle. Congrats for developer 👍👌. The only problem which I have is the quick discharging of phone's battery due to high power consumption of the SDR & the smartphone is heating up. So, in this method unfortunately I can't use the usb sdr with my smartphone. I will use it with my PC. Good idea to adapt a device for Android device too.

  A Google user: I had this application installed on my LG Android device smartphone for years, but I never fully learned it. In the beginning, I only used it with my Shark SDR-RTL as an FM radio, just for fun. After I rekindled my SW listening hobby, I decided to give it a test. I even bought the SpyVerter up converter. However, another things got in the method and I did not even try it. Now that I have a bit more of gratis time, I decided to discover SDR again.I tried a few Windows SDR apks, each with its own pros and cons. After finding the best working settings for my SDR-RTL+SpyVerter setup, I decided to test once more with SDR Touch. Boy! It was not only simpler than I though it would be. I tried it with the up converter, which was a breeze to setup and it worked very well. Looking around the configuration, I found the method to do direct sampling, which means that I do not need the up converter (less drain to the battery). Unfortunately, the upconverter does add a bit of gain as well as some required filtering to my SDR-RTL dongle. I am still discovering this apk, but I am very satisfied with it, so far.

  A Google user: Incredibly useful. The Spectrum function when used with a noise source and a directional coupler makes a gorgeous program for analysing and adjusting filters and antennas. Easily used on a smartphone or smartphone. Just sweep manually by touch until you have the response you wish. Good for checking out junk box finds or setting up a fresh project. Gorgeous low cost sdr for Android device. Well worth the cash.

  Brian D Suggs: It freaking works, every time with any of my SDR dongles on any of my droids, regardless of size create or ver. Not a large learning curve, they haven't pulled my key or tried to charge me once more for it or require a limit on the number of devices I've place it on. For me it's a awesome put to begin prior to using one that runs on a PC. Thanks for letting it be enjoyable !

  A Google user: Driver requires root. But well worth the effort to root your smartphone. Listen to virtually any frequency out there. My choice for a usb tuner for this is the terratec tstick+ found on ebay and amazon for cheap. Have fun seeing your favorite fm station. Or discover the spectrum. FUN!! Note: usb stick uses some juice. Use an otg specific powered hub for stable results.
