Simply begin any apk you have installed through SecureMe and when you’re done using it SecureMe will automatically remove all the permission of the apk for you. SecureMe helps to protect your data and privacy as you go throughout your day, saving battery life by blocking apks that require persistent access to permissions and protecting your device from intrusive apks. SecureMe is built with the phone player in mind, due to the increase of cyberattacks using spyware and malware built into mobile apks, which gather and collect player data through device features such as cameras and microphones, SecureMe aims to assist prevent these apks to access permissions when they are not in use. SecureMe requires no device root or unique privileges and there are no complicated procedures to use SecureMe, you simply install and use. SecureMe does not connect to the internet and neither requires access to unique permissions. SecureMe also does not use any resources to operate and does not affect the battery life. What’s the procedure for using SecureMe? Simply select an application once you have opened SecureMe. You can use the find function to search your apk, it is also alphabetically laid out. Once you have chosen an apk you will be able to view all the list of permissions the application requires. You then click ‘run application’ and all the permissions will be enabled. Once you are done using the application as normal (by minimising or closing the application) SecureMe will do its job to remove any permissions granted to the application for you. SecureMe sounds too awesome to be real, is it? SecureMe does what it says, it protects the player from intrusive and malicious apks. Makes the player more aware to what permissions your favourite apks use on a everyday basis and blocks them out for when you do not need them. Can SecureMe steal my data? SecureMe requests no permissions from the player. It cannot read any application data, apart from the settings apk which is needed to turn permissions on and off. SecureMe doesn't require nor request access to the internet to function, so it cannot send out player data. SecureMe also doesn’t read or write to player storage, mitigating any potential threat of data theft.
