  Lucas Hinch: Yes, this is a consumer level product, No this is not a system like the ones on the nose of an AH-64. This product does what it's supposed to do. The tool is a tiny buggy with revisions on the method. $269 after tax is an extremely affordable price for what you receive. I forsee it paying for itself in no time. This tiny product is as awesome as it gets when compared to another products under $1000. There's not a bunch of wires or cords to maintain. The supplied hardshell case withstands being run over too!

  Michael Hill: The hardware build quality and performance is quite phenomenal for $200. The tool should definitely be improved but it's really tough to complain at this price point.   chill pill: Just starting to see the wonders and possibilities with this hardware and apk. This is true innovation and useful application of the power accessible in a phone. I am an engineer working in a bitumen upgrading facility. Showed a couple of my engineering mates and the wow factor alone is worth the price of the camera. Test filming a little stream of hot water pouring into a sink full of cold water and watch the mixing patterns reveal themselves. Super cool. Look for equipment hotspots. Etc.

  Haley Wigent: So far so awesome. It works on my smartphone but not my boyfriend's. He has an ancient android device so I can't say I'm surprised. I am planning to test it to check the brood nests in my beehives without having to begin them. How cool will that be!! When you begin the box it gives you a site to check device compatibility. If it says it is not compatible then don't begin the camera and return it. There are a few negative reviews that comment on the cost of the product or they can't use the camera on their current device........this apk is for a specialty product. If you don't own the product you won't be able to use the app........I need to dig into the apk a bit more but so far it has been fun. I work on Hybrid Batteries so it will be interesting to see things like how the batteries are reacting on the testing rigs and in vehicles. :)

  Wayne Wolfe: I have wanted a thermal camera for a long time but should never justify the cost .For under 300 bucks this camera is a good deal I bought the XR ver. The fresh wider screen format with the recent modernize is helpful. However the default camera checkbox in the opening screen still comes up evertime. And I want i should zoom the natural camera when both cameras are opened as then I should better line up the photos.
