  Brian Sage: Invaluable for solar monitoring. IMO, solar installers could begin bundling Sense with fresh installations, instead of Nest. I've read a lot of "it doesn't recognize foo," and that's often the case in my home, too. Just bring honest, over the past 3 months that I've had Sense installed, it hasn't recognized over 50% of the devices we use every day. However, it has recognized the devices that create up over 70% of our electricity usage, and that has created an fantastic difference in our usage habits, which is exactly what we wanted to see. Every month or so, a fresh category of devices seems to receive recognized in a batch, so I'm confident the Sense troops of robots are improving their recognition skills. There is still room for improvement, but I've been very satisfied with the performance this far.

  Happy Medic: You have no idea what uses so much energy in your home. The oven uses more electricity than the plug in vehicle. Sense has changed how we see energy use. With home solar we can use Sense to tailor our usage to actually profit. A must have for the 21st century home.

  Jermaine Lindsay: Unbelievable Apk and program Sense is absolutely good. I am having a blast seeing all my appliances talk to me and allow me know how my home is performing. Already created a couple of adjustments based on the info I got and it's only been 3 days since I installed. Basically turned on a light and saw it was using over 230 watts compared to my LED lights using 30. Looking at related comparisons around the house. Also awesome to see how much my ”always plugged in” devices are using, 25%, yeesh...

  Paul Heller: I've had Sense for 3 months now and I love it! One of the large reasons I got Sense was for notifications. Now that it has IFTTT integration these are good. I receive a text when the dryer turns off (it's in the basement, so this is a large assist). I also track some device usage in a Google sheet which updates automatically every time the device comes on. I love the solar add on, which gives me method more details than SunRun does. The device will pay for itself already because it found our laser printer and allow us know it uses a ton of power when in standby. We leave it off now unless we need to print (which isn't often).

  Mark Boehler: Installed a couple days ago The apk is working well. I am starting to see some devices being identified. Plus it gives you continuous instantaneous info on how much power you are using. It can even tell me how much solar power I am generating. This thing is good!

  James Cherry: Found over 20 devices so far in the past few months. Larger lights, clothes dryer, refrigerators, GDO, sump pump, and AC to name a few. I'm notified when someone comes home/opens the garage door, or if the lights have been turned on, and even if someone opens the refrigerator - Sense has detected the light bulb that comes on when the door is begin! This is peace of mind while on vacation also as certainly I will know if someone is in the house. I like tracking the AC usage and it is nice to know the sump pump is running at home while at work during a massive rain storm. Sense has been worth the cost for these reasons and I suggest others to purchase one for their homes. I think there is vast possibilities with this equipment and Sense will continue to improve and impress me along the method. It takes time, even months to detect devices so hold this in mind. I receive excited each time something fresh is found!

  Galen Dove: I was in the beta tool for this apk since I installed my Sense. I love the device, it is very convenient for seeing the usage in my home. There is still room for improvement in the Apk but it doesn't warrant taking away any stars. There are some apk crashes with the trend screen when you dont have enough data and it takes a loooong time to detect certain devices. I am sure all of that will improve with more customers and thus more data.

  Dana Lavoie: Does a nice job displaying usage of components in your house. Has been running for weeks and still finding more devices. I would like to see the bubble display better on tablets, works good on smartphone. All in all the more devices that can search the more details you have on your house usage.

  Darko Milasinovic: This apk is good. I love the fact that I can tell how much electricity uses, each significant device in my house. How often the device is on and for how long. Now with the dollar sign associated with it, it is simple to tell where I can save some cash, even though I thought I knew :), I am being surprised with some of the findings. Love it!

  John Zeveney: Thought I would share a latest experience pertaining to my Sense Monitor. I've had the unit for over a year and it has worked seamlessly. Latest weekend hurricane Irma passed by our home the eye passed with 30 miles knocking the power out. When the power was lost I switched to our main standby generator. Shortly after which it failed so I was forced to switch to a smaller backup emergency generator. The Sense really came in handy at this point as the emergency backup generator was not really big enough to power everything. However with the Sense in hand I was able to hook it up to the MAIN's from the emergency generator and re-balance the load to both legs of the smaller generator. This allowed me to run significantly more stuff on the smaller generator as I was able balance both 120V lines nearly perfectly. This intern allowed the generator to run at max output without popping the breaks on either output line. Thanks Sense Labs!, John

  Gary Wallace: Very simple to install and gives an extremely accurate look at usage patterns. It takes awhile for the device learning to take put but out of the box it will monitor real-time usage so you can turn devices on and off to see the immediate usage with that. I'm looking forward to more integration with Alexa, IFTTT and another smart home devices. Good device!!
