No advertisements and no in apk purchases (aside from a voluntary donation option), Serum is an original science fiction interactive story where the choices you create can change the future of entire worlds. Over 75,000 words in length, with 47 possible endings, there are a lot of various adventures to experience and stories to tell – some only a couple of choices in length, others far longer. Simply read the text given and choose how to proceed from the choices provided. Unlike some role-playing game-books and interactive novels, Serum plays much like the classic select your own journey ebooks of the past, has no complicated systems, and no advertisements or pay-to-win. This role-playing text journey focuses purely on telling an exciting and original story, immersing the user in a special science fiction setting, pausing only to offer exciting and challenging choices which lead to dramatically various outcomes. The year is 2325. 138 Years ago the artificial consciousness 'Consul' was overthrown and exiled. A mere 28 years later Humanity discovered an ancient device cloaked in orbit around our globe. The wormhole it made revealed to us the Satumine, hundreds of light years away. The aliens should not activate the ancient frames connecting our worlds, that was a skill built into the genes of only a handful of humans, and if we knew then what we know now we would have never begun trading with them. We should have forgotten about the frames and continued to rebuild our globe from the rubble of the Consul fight. But we didn't. We wanted to trade, wanted to create use of the longevity drugs the Satumine so gladly offered for such a cheap price. But the price did not stay low, and the demand for the Serum only increased as our entire globe became addicted. So now, having freed ourselves of Consul's tyranny, we give ourselves to fresh masters, shipping our planet's wealth and resources through the frame, stripping our planet bare for ever smaller boxes of the damned Satumine Serum. Tiche CoMC: Finally got around to writing a review. I first played this about seven months ago while on holiday, thoroughly enjoyed it. Bought both Atrocity and Atavism a month or so later, and was utterly enthralled. This has since become one of my favourite Science-Fiction settings, and I am very much looking forward to the next novel, and whatever follows. Perfect work, such an inventive and creative setting, and very compelling heroes too. Hold up the awesome work.

A Google User: A fast-paced, well written journey with a lot of options, "Serum" is slightly burdened with a convoluted back story that leaves the user doing catch up through most of the first run-through. Luckily, there is plenty of replayability, and the info of the storyline become more familiar each time you play. Suggested.

Dirttreks Livio: Picked all the least logical choices. Mini game ended beautiful fast. Will replay but this time be a tiny more logical.

Nabhanyu Sharma: Most of all, I applaud the originality of the story.

A Google User: I was somewhat impressed with the narrative. The story was beautiful descriptive literally, as well as fairly immersive in the mindset of the user hero. There were different endings, some rewarding, while others bleak to say the least. This variation on future dystopia was a refreshing change from the often tedious tapestries of another tales. The tone of writing and attention to detail were satisfying, and I especially enjoyed the AC/IB interactions. 46/47 endings found.
