Turn your screen on and off by simply shaking your phone. Avoid breaking your power button. Just shake your smartphone and lock or unblock it. Please try if the apk works on your device first by installing the FREE ver, "Shake Screen On Off FREE". IT WILL NOT DRAIN YOUR BATTERY. On device's up to Android device KitKat 4.4, the battery consumption could be minimal. On device's running Android device 5+, due to an Android device bug, there will be more battery being used, but it still could not be a large amount. I did all I should to create the apk work on Android device 5+, and so I rather create it work, even if more battery is important to hold it working. My main focus when I implemented the apk was on not draining the battery, and it won't. Allow it run for a day and then check the app's battery consumption. It could be minimal (as opposed to another "Shake to turn the screen on and off" and "Shake to Lock and Unblock" apks on Google Play. This is the PRO ver of the apk 'Shake to Screen On Off'. On the PRO version: 1 - no advertisements are displayed. 2 - the player can select to begin the apk automatically after the device is turned on. 3 - the apk can be set to unblock the screen automatically when the screen is turned back on. 4 - the apk can use the proximity sensor to avoid accidentally turning on the screen when the device is on a pocket, for instance. 5 - The device can be set to vibrate every time the screen is turned on or off. IT WILL NOT DRAIN YOUR BATTERY. Have I said it already? My main focus when I implemented the apk was on not draining the battery, and it won't. Allow it run for a day and then check the app's battery consumption. It could be minimal (as opposed to another "Shake to turn the screen on and off" and "Shake to Lock and Unblock" apks on Google Play. ------------------------- UNINSTALLATION ------------------------- Due to the fact that the apk needs admin privileges to run, if you wish to uninstall it you must do it by clicking on the uninstall button inside the apk. If you test to uninstall the apk using the standard Android device Apk Manager, the uninstall button will be disabled. Just remember that to uninstall the apk, you must access the apk itself. --------------------- COMPATIBILITY --------------------- Unfortunately, on some devices the apk will not be able to turn the screen back on (when the player shakes the smartphone) after the screen is turned off. It's a hardware limitation of these devices, and there is nothing that can be done on the tool side to avoid it. For instance, I've inspected the apk on the 'LG Nexus 4' and it works flawlessly; on the another hand, on the 'Samsung Galaxy Ace' the accelerometer sensors are turned off the moment the screen goes off. If that is the case on your device, please send me an email (there is a button on the apk to do it) explaining what is event on your specific case. The apk will add the model and manufacturer of your device to the body of your email (please do not erase this info) and I will remove your device from the list of accessible devices on Google Play. Thank you very much for your help! PERMISSIONS Prevent smartphone from sleeping - important to wake the smartphone up after it's screen is turned off. Vibration - important in case the player wants the smartphone to vibrate when the screen is turned on or off. Run at Startup - important if the player wants the apk to begin automatically after the device is turned on. This apk uses the Device Administrator permission. It's important to lock/unlock your screen. Read the notice the Android device system will present you. This is the only admin permission the apk needs. Reason for installing initially was that on my previous smartphone I should double tap the screen to begin and close, but on my fresh smartphone I had to press the power button each time to do this function. With a sensitivity setting of 3, I can walk around and not activate my watch through casual movements, but if I give it a tiny shake the watch face lights up with the time. steven kukula: I don't mind the bar up in the left hand corner on my zte grand × max + as I do the appearance. Needs to be smaller'& color full. This one is just plain ugly. That said i would give 6 stars on everything else. Had the gratis ver for a couple weeks and loved its ability to wake and sleep being battery friendly also. The $1.99 is well worth it because I noticed enhanced performance without interference from commercials that flash at you like a strobe light. Catch 22? you bet. Thank you!!

Richard O'Beirne: I use it on an HTC One as a GPS on a boat. It is in a waterproof cover which doesn't allow me access the power button, so the apk is good. One improvement I would like is the ability to prevent the shake turning the smartphone off. Another reviewers also seem interested in related flexibility.
