An estranged member of his congregation has died and left the rabbi a significant amount of cash. A blessing? Or the begin of something far more sinister? Can Rabbi Stone just agree the cash and move on, or will his conscience receive the better of him? Step into his shoes as he travels all over Manhattan in his attempt to uncover the truth. Features rabbinical conversation ways, a special way of fighting, a haunting score, and three various endings depending on your moral choices. _____________________________________________ REVIEWS PocketGamer - "Its special cast of heroes, intriguing storyline, and sharp detective-style conundrums mean it's well worth playing this thoughtful and pensive journey." Reviews and Recent Comments:
Tony Puccinelli: Not common for mini games to address problems of faith. Interesting already after only a half hour and the interface is intuitive.

Joel Barnett: The faith based storyline felt special and refreshing. The plot flowed together nicely although you may need a walkthrough at the ready for certain parts of the mini game. The Shivah is short but the directors commentary and little asking price create it worthwhile. Anyone looking for something various and engrossing could give this a go.

James Rhodes: Reminds me a tiny of Chabon's Yiddish Policeman's Union, except that the Yiddish is a tiny more organic for us goy. Good story, OK graphics, awesome voice acting. Witty and intriguing: an clever mini game for reflective thinkers.

A Google user: Still love Wadjet Eye's first commercial release, as well as ALL their another mini games. Thank you Dave and Janet!

A Google user: These guys are no joke. If you have fun the aesthetics of Monkey Island or Gabriel Knight you'll love every mini game that Wadjet puts out. Mini games like the Blackwell series, Primordia, Gemini Rue (also accessible on android device), and Resonance are some of the best point and click adventures I've ever played. I never played the original Shivah, and was excited to see the remastered ver here on the play shop; it is a totally engrossing journey.

Stephen Neal: Have to say this is the best rabbi based detective mini game I've played. Multiple endings to discovery too. It's not incredibly long but it's just right for the storyline.

Carlton Dickson: Random theme but good graphics and video test as usual

Jordan Dove: I've played all of Wadjet Eye's mini games, and this one wasn't as good as the Blackwell Series, but still a awesome mini game. Only knocked a * off because it was so short. Thanks Wadjet!

Carlos: Good heroes too, but its maybe a tiny short.
User rated this game 4/5 on 2015-01-24
Lorenzo Vocaturo: For the price it has now that shouldn't be a trouble but it's very very short. But it's deep and very interesting. There's a fair share of Jewish heroes in media but I can't recall other mini game when you are one of them and place in their shoes. For the rest it's just a classic point and click journey mini game

Trelos Alepou: A nice insight into the jewish faith via a well written murder mystery. Unlike most journey mini games, Shivah (and the rest of wadjet eye mini games) follows a much more down-to-earth logic available to a normal person willing to apply his brain. Fully voiced and beautifully drawn mini game, well worth your time, however short it may be.

Renzo Arcuri: I appreciated the mini game and the atmosphere really catched me from the beginning. The porting to android device is almost flawless. The only reason i give four stars instead of five is for the length, around two hours for the first play.

Dean Faccini: Not a long mini game but very playable. Worth the cash.
User rated this game 4/5 on 2015-12-26
Hai Mac: Enjoyed the atmosphere, dialogue and intriguing heroes. Sadly, it's a bit short and not as rich in content as Gemini Rue.

Justin Blanchard: I like the mini game, but not as much as the Blackwell series by the sane creator. It's a awesome story, but a short mini game. Instead of awesome puzzles it offers dialog trees that must be climbed very carefully -- or, of you wish to experience the whole mini game, climbed a few times from the nearest save point.

Dan Sherrington: Very awesome but far too short. Wadjet sure know how to create a awesome journey mini game with good heroes and stories - so much so that i was very disappointed when i finished this! I was just getting really engrossed! Would have been 4 or 5 stars if there was more.....
User rated this game 3/5 on 2015-11-13
K Hunter: It's hard to like an journey mini game that is so tedious
User rated this game 3/5 on 2014-04-27
Derick Roche: I cant move to temple place. When i kind beth tikva into computer to receive place to appear on map it returns no results. There is nothing else i can do???? Please assist
User rated this game 3/5 on 2014-10-11
Ondrej Rosypal: Very short lenght and shallow video test almost compensated by original theme, likeable heroes and solid voice acting.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2015-11-12
Sean Duffy: While not quite the twisty narrative journey Gemini Rue proved to be, Shivah is a capable point-and-click with an interesting (and educational!) Jewish twist. With slightly more difficult puzzles and prettier graphics than GR, it's at least worth a shot. Mazel tav!

Tim Ditchburn: Awesome mini game just far to short. Heroes and story well thought out though. Just leaves you wanting more than one short case.
User rated this game 3/5 on 2015-03-09
Olga Kusmina: The moral story behind the mini game is good. special plot with the jewish world.But..The mini game crashed a few times, monotonous, has awful graphics(they should have worked that out more for the price)Not long and the user is challenged and involved not much. You just tap on answers which eventually lead to the same outcome, no option of combining items. The end is character like but takes the whole fun and kindof plain. And then the thing with login on rabbiPC: how was I supposed to know the code?got me stuck
User rated this game 2/5 on 2015-03-21
Karbon Kevlar: Ridiculously short. So short that it's type of a ripoff to pay for this. Another than that it's well executed and crafted, just like their another journey mini games, but for like 10-20mn of video test. I was shocked when I realised that I had actually finished the mini game whilst waiting on the loading screen the next chapter.
User rated this game 2/5 on 2016-09-15
Christopher King: Boring, short, the puzzles are not fun.. Basically the end mini game voice over's makes this .. Lack of a mini game.. Skip it, receive Gemini Rue
User rated this game 2/5 on 2014-10-15
Sylvie Tress: Very unhappy I cant complete this mini game!!! No matter what I do, 'Beth Tikvah' never becomes a place I can access on the map so I can never proceed to continue & finish the mini game!! I even reinstalled it, started it over & tried once more and its stuck on the same part at the beginning. so upsetting!!
