SignalCheck allows players to check the real signal strength of their connections. Unlike the standard Android device signal bars, which typically only display the 1xRTT (voice and low-speed data) signal strength, SignalCheck will present you detailed signal info about all of your device's connections, including 1X, GSM, EV-DO or eHRPD (3G), LTE (4G), and Wi-Fi. There is a SignalCheck discussion thread too! SignalCheck will display LTE Cell ID info on most devices running Android device 4.2 or higher, and some HTC devices on earlier Android device versions. SignalCheck was one of the first (if not THE first) Android device apks to provide this info to players. LTE band and frequency info is accessible on compatible Android device 7+ devices. LTE band info is also accessible on older devices connected to major US providers. Root access adds LTE frequency info on older devices. A configurable SignalCheck widget can be added to your home screen, showing your realtime connection kind and signal strengths. SignalCheck also displays the current connection kind along with the carrier name for each connection, even while roaming. One of the best features of SignalCheck are the notification icon(s). A user-customizable icon shows your data connection strength in the notification place at the top of the screen, and more info can be seen in the pulldown menu. Your signal strength is always at the top of the screen along with your another icons.. no need to begin the apk to check your connections. The icons are customizable, showing signal bars, connection kind, digital signal strength in dBm, or connection kind with signal strength. A secondary icon can be enabled to always display the 1xRTT signal for players who want to compare their signal strengths realtime. All of this is customizable from within the apk! Players can configure this to automatically begin when their device boots up if they select to. SignalCheck can also notify the player with optional audio and/or vibrating alerts when a 4G LTE connection is discovered. This is handy for players traveling in fresh cities, or if your carrier's network is being upgraded -- know immediately when you have a high-speed connection! Sprint players can also enable alerts to notify them when they connect to 800 SMR. Curious as to which turret you are connected to? SignalCheck will not only present you the ID, but also the road address of the 1X turret or sector on most CDMA networks! Clicking on the address will automatically present the place through your mapping apk. Players can also add custom "Website Notes" for each website they connect to. SignalCheck has an option to quickly restart your data connections from within the apk (root needed on Android device 4.2+). Other option allows players to begin checking their signals as soon as their device boots, enabling the notification icon(s) immediately. SignalCheck provides simple access to advanced Android device screens such as Data, Debug, Engineering, EPST, and Field Trial, along with Battery Details, Field Trial, Mobile Networks, and Wi-Fi details. These screens are already accessible on most Android device devices, but are only available by unique dialer codes. SignalCheck is a good complement to the Sensorly apk, allowing you to check your signal strengths and map them out so another players can see the data as well. This apk has also been referred to as Signal Check, Signal Check LTE, LTE Signal Check, and LTE Checker, among another things. Players checking their signals on the Sprint network will see the most benefit from this apk as their Network Vision nationwide upgrades rolls out, but AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and international players can also check their signals and see detailed info about their connections.

Jonathan Helis: Perfect Apk for diagnosing signal problems I'm using SignalCheck Pro on a Samsung Galaxy S3 with Verizon Wireless as my carrier. It gives me some good info about my signal strength. What I search most interesting is the turret ID. Even though I don't receive an address with Verizon, I know when I'm on a various turret. At home, sometimes I have signal problems, and it turns out I often search my smartphone has switched turrets depending on where I am in the house, while at work I"m on the same turret the whole time and receive solid reception. This tiny bit of info is interesting to me. If you have signal strength problems, it's good to assist diagnose them. I also like the fact it gives me my WiFi signal strength. I highly suggest this apk if you have signal problems are just wish to know more than what your phone's S-Meter tells you.

Cindy Like: I downloaded this after I saw something about it on Android device Central to see if it was just like all the rest of the signal apks I've tried. This one is a lot better than the others that I've tried in the past. It gives me invaluable info about whatever signal I may or may not be getting at any given moment. I have metal walls to deal with in the office that I work in and I can always go over to my smartphone and check how my signal is doing at any given time. It will also give me detailed info about my Wi-Fi connection where ever I'm at which is very helpful to me. For the average player, this may be too much info for them to deal with but for the power players this is a unbelievable apk to have on your smartphone. Two thumbs up!

William Buchanan: Good apk! First off this is a good apk!! As a EVO LTE owner I created a mistake of changing radio bands, which now wish let it to automatically band change bands . This is a preset in the EVO LTE devices and not the apks, and the only method to change is to hard restart. The apk "owner" is very very helpful and will answer back.

Works Beautifully! This is my favorite smartphone geek apk that I install on all my phones. Lots of detailed info and I love the website note feature which I modernize with turret place details. A thought I had was it would be good if I should map coverage for each website, all the data is accessible, and a sensorly kind map which showed coverage that you should toggle for each turret would be very cool for us geeks

James Fry: Good Love it. Only glitch and maybe its just a setting trouble but when I am in Maryland it doesn't give me an address, of the cell turret place of my signal. But in Pennsylvania where I live it shows address of the turret I am getting my signal from. If somebody should tell me if it is a setting that would be good. But this is good.
