  Kristopher Setnes: Good! Out of all of the planetarium apks I have tried, this one is my favorite. It stays real to it's core functionality. It is an apk that helps you search objects in the sky. It isn't bloated with another features like cartoon graphics of the constellations or photos and text lifted from another sources. It works very well on my first generation Nexus 7 smartphone. The movement is much smoother than Google Sky Map. The apk also feels far less commercial than some of the tournament. The gratis ver is fully functional and without ads. There's nothing to force you to make batter to the "pro" ver another than the larger list of objects that contains comets and satellites (very cool). This is the apk I suggest to mates (gratis and pro versions). I look forward to attaching it to a telescope and trying out the PUSHTO functionality.

  Cian O'Sullivan: Perfect apk with rich details. My experience was the apk was much more sensitive than, for example, Google Sky, so on my HTC 10 I have to create sure sensors are calibrated, then it is accurate enough to pick out lots of faint satellites passing overhead. Also the developer was very prompt with helpful tip. I suggest.

  A Google User: It's a awesome one For the amateur astronomer, Skeye represents a significant make batter from tools like Skymap. - The PUSHTO feature allows you to attach your smartphone to the scope, indirectly align it and use it to point the scope can be a true assist, getting you into the place your target if not pointed directly at it. The author, Harshad, has been the leader implementing Cell Smartphone based PUSHTO and Skeye Pro represents the state of the art for the Android device smartphone. - Skeye Pro has a really big database, the entire NGC and IC catalogs (close to 14,000 objects) in addition to the Messier and Caldwell objects, this is what sets it apart from the gratis ver of Skeye and from a lot of another related tools. jon

  Jonathan Pugh: SkEye has the correct balance of sophistication controls and simplicity of on screen display so that it has become my go to apk for all night sky viewing. I have also successfully attached my smartphone to my telescope (a 10" Dobson) and used the PushTo feature of this apk to search and observe night time objects I would never of seen without the assistance. An intuitive and strong apk that transforms my telescope into a goto without the cost of motors, computer or expensive tool.

  vincent p: Outstanding! One thing particular to SkEye is the ability to rotate everywhere using 2 fingers, like in Google Map. Once you test SkEye it is very hard to use another related apks that do not rotate freely like SkEye. Other thing particular to SkEye is the ability to adjust the brightness/opacity of names/labels and lines, stars and objects. This allows you to declutter the map to your liking and allows you to turn your smartphone display brightness to a minimum, thus preserving battery life. SkEye is a joy to use!

  T. Scott Nalley: My fresh favorite apk Love this apk. I have been looking for a method to predict when a satellite is going to cross in front of the moon. I have seen it twice in latest months through a telescope and I am looking forward to catching it on camera. This apk will create it simple. I also love being able to use it for DSC.   A Google User: Two dozens of good in a one-ton bag. While the gratis ver did most of what I usually need, I coughed up the additional cash for the paid ver to help development. The high-quality sky planetarium part of the tool is good, but the digital setting circles feature pushes it over the top. Commercial DSC systems can cost hundreds of dollars; DIY is a pain in the butt. Strap your smartphone running Skeye to a telescope or really big pair of binoculars, take a min or two to calibrate, and you're awesome to go.
