  A Google User: Good Improvement From first glance, looks like the recent modernize (first one in quite some time) is a awesome one. Haven't used it on the course yet, but I like the statistics feature (will replace what I use a normal scorecard for, hopefully) and also the "locate course near you" feature as well. Looking forward to using this the next time I receive out for a round!

  A Google User: Good apk for the price. I used this apk on my T-Mobile HTC Amaze for the first time yesterday. The distances seemed very accurate. The battery was still at 1/2 when the round ended, so that is not a trouble at all. CONS: The maps are not very useful. They are very slow to load, can't be rotated to line the hole up with the screen, and the distance markers are too little to see in bright light. It might assist if the course map should be downloaded to the smartphone like some hiking GPS apks do. Scaling the distance text with the map would also assist a lot. These don't seem like trivial changes, but would add tremendously to the value of the apk. PROS: It has an accurate and simple to use range display. I payed $3.50 for a soft drink during the round of golf. So at $2.00, this is a super bargain for any golfer. Even without the maps or scorecard, this is still a 5 star apk.

  Gary Lank: Works well I have used it on a few local courses. It is within 2-3 yards of the p g a markers on course. The only draw back is can't track multiple users or I just haven't figured it out yet. Would suggest it to my mates. Suggest backing up scores . I switched phones lost my scores. Was upset had some of my best scores on latest smartphone
