  Don Ferron: Other modernize. It seems that the developer has no intentions of helping out with help. This is an modernize to a previous 2 star review... Was the install simple? Sort of. Didn't immediately figure out where to hook up the RTD. The unit did not fit the ZGrill even though help said compatible. They meant working not fitting. I had to file the top of the controller opening about 1/16 inch. Does it work as a PID? Yes. Does the tool work well? No. In my case, I have to unplug and plug-in power each time in order for the wireless connection icon to quit flashing and connect. The time and temp shutdown feature does NOT work, but seems to shutdown fine - no back burn anyway - so far. Unable to change the date on the apk, unable to delete any of the recipes which in my estimation are useless. There was no manual with the unit and took 3 days to receive one mailed. Help says that this is totally their development and yet there are Chefood players that have exactly the same apk and controller. This looks like a rebrand to me, which really isn't an problem if it works. Companies buy and sell their products all the time. What is curious is the Chefood still offers a controller, just not the wireless connection ver. Also interesting is the lack of reviews and already being sold out. Was inventory purchased with nothing in production? All in all, I like the controller, but offer only a 3 star for apk problems, and help not fully addressing problems. I would have no trouble in recommending this controller, if the tool were updated and if help were a bit better.

  tyler resener: Awesome apk just needs couple things. Alarm if the smoker goes out or drops below set temp by 50 or so degrees please. And for some reason it shows on apk 25 deg. lower thann it shows on control board. Fix those then it's 5 star

  Peter Wood: Apk loads but then can't do everything. All buttons are greyed out and pop ups are not in English. Totally useless!

  Dave Fornow: Had this on my I smartphone. Didn't work very well. Switched to Android device but can login. Can't remember login details and the login error boxes are in chinese. Plus side is if Biden gets elected I will probably have to learn chinese and will then be able to read it after January

  johnny fernandez: Working awesome so far but a few updates/improvement ts required especially the shut down temp and time setting need to be permanent setting, not restart every time you shut down. I messaged the developer a few times now for help and yet to hear back.

  Richard Weber: Can't figure out how to connect via Bluetooth. This apk should use a lot of improvements. Chinese error messages? No language selection options. Come on.. Takes forever to shut down. Have to restart the temp preference every time. Gonna look for other apk since this controller seems to just be rebranded. I don't think I'm going to learn Mandarin any time soon. Probes are mixed up in the interface. Probe 1 is showing up as probe 2. Editing the destination temp on the probe doesn't modernize.

  Phil Smith: Leaves a lot to be desired. Won't keep a stabile connection. Needs to be updated for better connection , also modernize to work on PC and Tablets for Windows!
