  James Turner: Just finished setting up the remote and if you follow the included instructions you could have no problem getting this to work. I was even able to use existing remotes to tool devices that had no preset codes. So far perfect experience.

I paid $20 for the Smart WiFi Universal Remote and it's the best cash I've spent since I bought a Flowbee (a DIY hair cutting device worth it's weight in gold). Using this device, I can now control all of my devices using my smartphone. Not all of the buttons work immediately, but this device can learn fresh functions using your old remote. One thing you may need is an infrared repeater, because this device requires a line of sight, as with any infrared device.

  D S: Takes some time to learn but is a GREAT apk for using the Universal Wireless connection Remote. I'm so excited about this pair right now. It felt so awesome to push all the remotes in the end table drawer and close it. Paired with Google Home and am now in voice command of everything that used an old IR remote. I do want I should change the text on some of buttons in the learned remotes but this apk has created my life so much easier!

To hold all the time connected to the usb. No automaticly resume usb power.This is not reliable remote i have to be at home to see if it works or not .

  Jonathan Blaine: I had a heck of a time getting this apk to work with a Wireless connection IR controller and to work with Alexa. My intent was to control my RCA stereo with Alexa. I spent 3 days trying various things and talking with Alexa help which failed. I tried Tuya where I had another devices working with Alexa and that failed. I got thinking that maybe the RCA stereo itself isn't supported. That was it. I configured my Phillips 4K TV on the Wireless connection IR Controller and Alexa see's the device and it is now working. SmartPoint really needs to specify that some devices will not work with Alexa. Would have saved me hours. SmartPoint has a good apk. I'm removing two stars for the waste of time it caused me.

Taking this POS back to Walmart! This is the U.S.A. WE USE IMPERIAL MEASUREMENTS HERE! Also doesn't work outside your house, no outside network accessibility. Then they lie to you claiming they fixed it, but without an apk or firmware modernize, still shows Chinese and still puts my AC in Celsius..

The device itself is actually solid unfortunately the application that runs the device like a lot of others is poorly designed poorly maintained and poorly supported all of the responses are automated just telling you to send an email why even bother to have help and chat features inside the apk if the person in the end is going to have to send an email??? Secondly the controllers are awful you cannot edit them almost every device you tool is
