  Richard Wolfe: Connecting to my Pitboss 1600PS1 (with upgraded controller + firmware) was straight forward. A bit lacking in features, but it works for what I wanted it for (to remotely monitor temperatures). Would have loved to see a recipe feature that would let you to set multiple back-to-back timers for each scene of the cook. No problems so far. Apk reports both grill and probe temps accurately and consistently.

  Dynamic Mobile Detailing & Audio: Quality of home network is necessary!! I'm reading a lot of people saying they can't receive a stable wireless signal..in today's globe a mesh network is necessary I'm running eero and never once have I had a trouble with the smart controller or the apk! Good and easy. No problems.

  carlos martinez: Called Pitboss and was connected with Scott. The guy walked me through the reinstall in order to receive my grill going once more. Step by step took me through the process and got the grill going once more. Fresh pitboss apk is good. And service by Scott was good.

  JuBlaine: Connects, but laggy and controls don't work. The apk will connect to the grill, but the temperature readings are 20seconds to 2 mins lagging, and the controls just don't work at all. I can't change temperature, or turn it off from the apk. It would be an good tool and grill if it worked EDITED: Danny with customer service was very helpful, they called me back after leaving a notice the same day, and restart se things in the apk to receive it working. It appears to be working correctly now

  Jacob lipman: Really good apk! Can control my pitboss from anywhere. Apk is fairly primary which is awesome. You can control your grill from anywhere. Awesome wireless connection is necessary, but as long as you have a awesome set up, the apk works good. Any problems and the customer service is exceptional.

  James Haworth: Not sure why lots of people are bashing this apk. It works good for me. Maybe its their phones. I'm using a samsung 22 ultra and the apk seems to work good with my KC combo grill. Fine modernize, so have been using it for about 2 weeks now. It's worked flawless even on an over night smoke on a brisket. Still don't receive why people dont love this apk.
