About the application:

Snap’s Stories about Feelings are therapeutic stories and activities intended to assist children learn about and manage their own feelings. Anger, worry, fear, and sadness are among the feelings addressed in the stories and activities. Currently, the apk features two stories: What's Your Lava Level?, about managing frustration, and Worried Wendall, about worry. More stories will be created accessible as they are completed. Children can choose a story, listen to the story, see it illustrated, and then practice what they have learned by completing the activity ebook. No reading is needed, although children may have fun reading along with the story. No clinical training is important to use the apk. Children may use the apk by themselves or with a parent or another caregiver. Counselors or therapists who work with kids will search the apk a welcome addition to their practices, as will teachers. What’s inside: Story: Stories are read aloud and illustrated. Children can follow along with the text if they select. Activity Ebook: Children can free-paint or complete activity pages that reinforce the skills taught by each story. Each template includes prompts for completing the page, although children can select to complete the page without the prompts as well. Children can save their pictures if they want. Clinicians may select not to save pictures if privacy is a concern. The apk is the first in a series from Snappy Children, a company founded by a kid psychotherapist and a design engineer. Snappy Children products are all intended to assist children learn about and manage their feelings.
