About the application:

This gratis apk is intended for use by members of the 94th Flying Training Squadron at USAFA. It can be used to receive assist for yourself or others when time is critical. The first page is meant for emergency situations. Once you load a basic and secondary emergency contact (such as the commander and director of operations), tapping the "Assist" button will initiate a text notice to both numbers. The body of the notice will say "*** I need Assist! ***" and can be altered prior to sending. Just beneath it is a button to share your place with those emergency contacts. It will send them a link to Google Maps with your current coordinates. Additionally, a button to report an active shooter or suspicious activity are accessible at the top. All of these buttons must be unlocked prior to use by tapping the "unblock" button, to avoid inadvertently sending messages. The second page displays a list of resources such as suicide hotlines, chaplains, and first sergeants. Tapping on those will bring up a dialogue box to initiate a smartphone call or text message. All of these numbers are also found at https://www.usafa.edu/helping-agencies/ The third page allows you to build a custom list of helpful contacts, could that be useful.
