  troy laurent: I see a bunch of people complaining about this product and it gets me to thinking about my real thoughts. I actually dont own a Soloshot3 but am very lucky to have a mate that purchased it and has allow me borrow it for the latest 4 months so I can teach him to use it. I like most people was very excited about the Soloshot and so far I am more than satisfied with it. Is it excellent? nope, but this thing does method better at filming our son during sports than I ever should. The video quality is far superior to any video equip I have ever owned. The tracking is awesome but should it be better? absolutely. We live in an era where someone can take a little tracker and place it on a person and have a quality video camera follow them and record it....I understand there are people smarter than me trying to create improvements and im sure one day this will be flawless but until then I am MORE than satisfied with what I receive. We are saving for the smaller Soloshot and with my experiances I will remain hopeful and definitely supportive of Soloshot. So I recommend everyone relax and just have fun life.

  matt trevathan: I like my solo shot, but there are a number of features missing that could be in an apk like this. 1. Would like to be able to end my filing session with the apk. 2. Apk needs to let you to preview the video from the apk 3. Apk needs to notifiy you when fresh firmware versions are accessible. 4. Track the smartphone as a mark 5. Manually adjust exposure FPS etc, zoom from the apk. 6. turn the audio on and off for the camera on the apk 7. Turn tracking off and controls the base from the smartphone to tilt, pan, zoom 8. Copy video from your SoloShot to your smartphone 9. Connect to the internet via the Soloshot and Apk using a wireless connection connection between Soloshot and Apk and LTE connection to Fb etc. 10. Live Stream to Fb

  Levon Kikanian: I do not know what was the intent for the apk but it lacks any useful function besides the LIVE streaming which I haven't have a possibility to try yet as I couldn't have the camera track anything yet. You begin the apk and expect it to have a full suite of functions to control the camera - begin, stop video recording or tracking, zoom in/out, have the same preview on your smartphone as on the camera screen itself, have access to the settings and much more. In short, the apk could have all the functions the camera has and more as anyone would expect from a video recording device. Very disappointing! As an example take the $60 Amcrest safety webcam apk and learn from it.

Public has a right to know the fallacy of this company's advertising of their product. If you didnt buy the promises that sell with the camera and only install the app-you might be Satisfied and give 5 star review! If you do buy-be prepared for;disappointment, frustration, lost footage and more waiting-anywhere from (Years to Never!) on the advertised function that don't exist

When is the currently useless android device application ever going to become a useful control point. This goes back to June 2016 so beautiful much over it. Product sits on the shelf as a reminded not to receive involved in startups.

  Allen Beavers: Camera was bought with the expectation of being able to use the apk as a remote control. I want I had read the apk reviews prior to purchase as the theme of promising this feature has been an ongoing one for quite some time. As for the camera, it performs at a 2 of 5. The fact that when it loses the mark (in a wide begin field well within the 2,000 ft. range) and you are not near the camera to manually readjust the positioning after it recalibrates (important to receive the mark back into view), you end up with video of random nothingness and all the action just out of frame. Considering the purpose of purchasing was to capture destructive testing (one possibility to capture on video), this product is disappointingly unreliable. Better off getting a drone.

  Jessica Roller: Unit/app are defective. Still waiting for app-controlled filming that was promised months ago. These developers are asleep at their desks - I bought this cheap, shoddy product for my business and I am MAD. Soloshot doesn't reply the smartphone or return calls or emails, and doesn't seem to be in any type of hurry to create sure their customers keep what they paid for. I've filed a dispute with my credit card company to receive my cash back. Receive it together, Soloshot. For shame.
