  A Google User: Perfect Better than expected for the transfer to the smartphone. It is just like the console and PC versions. It even appears to be rendered in full 3D like the console and PC versions except for method fewer polygons . It does run slow, freeze, and force close often on my smartphone though, and has even shut my smartphone down.

  Tim Hall: Super Fun I played Sonic 4 Episode 1 before and hated it. The physics weren't right, mostly because Sonic's momentum should be completely stopped in mid air. Definitely fixed it with this one. This is extremely reminiscent of Sonic 1 through 3 in my eyes. Good level design; good soundtrack. Lots of fun! Please create more mini games like this. I want Sonic Generations for 3DS was this awesome.

  A Google User: One of the best Sonic mini games! This works very well for a mobile mini game. The graphics are unbelievable and the video test is very smooth for touchscreen controls. However the little joystick can be a trouble and gets in the method of the action a bit. Another than that this mini game is excellent! I highly suggest it to everyone and especially classic Sonic fanatics.

  A Google User: A ok port Bought this for xperia play,all buttons work perfectly like its playstation 3 counterpart.Dont know why some people are reporting problems regarding the action buttons.This mini game is a solid Sonic mini game & one of the more enjoyable mini games ive played since the Sonic Journey 2/Sonic Characters days and ive been a long time Sonic fanatic since day 1 in 1991.Those expecting Sonic Generations physics need to understand that even though that was a good game,its classic sonic formulae doesnt work with this part of the series.

  A Google User: Sonic 4: Episode III? Sonic 4: Episode I was awesome but Sonic 4: Episode II was 10 times better! I just love that Tails is back, longer, more detailed zones, Co-op video test, and of course, Metal Sonic being back in action. I love this mini game. Sadily no review is complete with the cons. The fact that if we are playing solo, we're forced to play as Sonic, we cannot play as Tails unless we have a Co-op partner, akward Co-op video test, melody loop hiccups, and a lack-luster Episode Metal... Fix all this with Episode III please?

  A Google User: Should be tougher I'm on my Samsung Galaxy Tab and this is a good mini game and the sensitivity on Unique Stages is ridiculous which I adore but the bosses are unbelieveably weak I just want they were tougher.

Since this is actually created by the Sega Sonic squad it's going to be good, but I never thought it would knock down Sonic 2 and CD on my list of all time favorite mini games, but it has. I grew up playing sonic all the method back in the Master System era still a fanatic of Sega hopefully they bring out more classics like Roads of Rage or the dwarf punching action of Golden Axe...
