  Kevin Claypool: The apk will briefly stop but then reset and hold playing even though I told it to stop.. Also I'd like to mention that a fully black, non holo ver would be appreciated for those who have AMOLED. Good apk, I hope you guys hold developing it. EDIT: UPDATED TO 5 STAR thank you devs so much for listening to my recommendation for a black out background, it looks good on my nexus 6!

  A Google user: I just stumbled upon this apk when I was looking for a user that would play FLAC audio files from my Seagate NAS server. So far, it works good. I really like the interface. It did take a few hours to scan my nearly 3 TB melody collection, but once that was done it plays all the files quickly and easily. I also like that I can multi-task on my Q-Box (Android device TV box) while listening to melody.

  V Ngage: I was looking for an apk to play melody from my really big collection on my Freenas drive. This is the best!. All others are folder based users need windows or iTunes or dlna or whatever. This one indexed my whole collection and created it instantly searchable. Took a while to scan but it works! Scanning got stuck a few times but I was able to rescan about 160 gigs of songs. Play back was instant and so is the find across songs artists genre or albums. I have just started using it and I hope it remains stable.

  Graham Evans: This is five stars because it is unbelievable functionality to have in my devices, even if not excellent. In combination with my chromecast audio I have a fabulous networked melody system I can run off whichever device I happen to be using at the time. I have a trouble with rescanning of a really big library seeming to stall, or otherwise going slow. The trouble may relate to Android device 9 powersaving features but not sure yet. A similar gripe is library scanning is slow compared to Samba melody user.

  A Google user: Works perfectly with Samba fileserver and Bluetooth speaker. Smartphone turns into uber remote control for melody. Perfect being able to build playlists from actual folders and not just from lists of artists, genres etc.

  Paul Christian: I have dozens of melody on a NAS network drive including a lot of FLAC files. Run of the mill melody users don't handle this well. Glad I don't need to write my own apk! Love that it knows about my melody even if I'm not connected to my home network. No more file browsing on ES file browser to queue up melody. Thank you!

  Martyn Symons: I have tried a lot of users that are supposed to play over a home network. Some of them worked, some of them required a lot of messing about with. This user just works as it is supposed to - good and simple to configure to your requirements. Nice interface which is simple to navigate. There are a couple of things to receive used to (like what various things do) but this only takes a couple of mins.

  Deepak Gangwar: It's takes a lot of time to choose my place in network (windows based) and after choosing the place it just keeps scanning doesn't really do something. Any tutorial link or maybe assist from you please. Edit: I was using windows 10 preview and that was the trouble, on windows 8.1 it's working flawlessly, thanks. 5 star.

  Kallol Ray: After a week's find for a effective network melody organizer & user, got the right apk. Compelled to donate. Connects quickly to NAS, basically a pen drive connected to router and list all songs by meta data. Thought of trying XBMC app, but footprint is 50 mb, this is less than 2mb.

  Mike Swain: This is exactly what I've been looking for! Rather than using uPnP, this user allows you to add network shares and - here's the part which earns it 5 stars - scans the tags so that you have album art and full song details. It is like having your entire melody library on your smartphone. Excellent. Of course it only works when connected to your home network but that's exactly what I wish. If I wish my melody when I'm out and about I have Google play.

  Chris Bitner: This is hands down the best apk I have. I haven't come around to cloud streaming services where I have to rent my songs. I own all of my melody and it is on my home PC. Around the house I can stream it with Soumi from any of my devices. To go portable I choose the songs, albums, or play lists I wish and Soumi copies them to my smartphone. When I wish to gratis up place on my smartphone Soumi deletes them and knows to stream them from the PC. Effortless. Intuitive.
