  Larry k: If you have a smart display like Google Home Hub you know you can ask google assistant for recipes. If you are a home cook you probably have a ebook of recipes. Now you can add them to this apk in a lot of various methods and use your smart display to find your own recipes and display and read ingredients and instructions to you. This developer is very begin to recommendations and answers your questions quickly. Search a recipe on the web, add it. Have one you created, kind it in. You can even use your smartphone to capture one in print. This is the best companion linked to a smart display or as a stand alone apk. Changes created in December to apk.

  Laurence Boswell: This is a wonderul apk! I love how I can import recipes from sites, and even more importantly - Make and shop my own recipes and have Alexa read them while I cook. The only question/concern is that I can't share recipes with someone without using the QR code and having my mate with me in person... Is there a method to send recipes through email or something and have the another person still be able to import them straight into the apk? Thanks once more for such a cool apk!

  Joleen McAlevy: 1) I can enter my recipes, I can share recipes with another people I know using this apk, and I can link to recipe sites through the apk. 2) I appreciate the time-savers... to add things from my menu item recipe's ingredient list to my shopping list as I peruse them, and being able to scale recipes up or down! 3) The recipe input ways initially bothered me and took some adjustments. The camera to simply take pictures, isn't as simple as you would think, but it IS still in beta testing. I WISH it should have a method to input the recipes on the computer, on a nice large screen you can see, and a keypad that isn't blocking the view of where and what you're typing. I just bought a blue-tooth keyboard for my smartphone as a compromise. What I hope to see: 1) I'd like to add pictures of my creations to the recipes I input, saves a lot of description place. 2) I'd like Echo Present to be able to present me what I seen on screen in the apk... ingredients list, steps list, notes, etc. Alexa shows me nothing... meaning I can't use her... I have to use my smartphone apk, which defeats MY purpose in the kitchen. 3) I'd like to be able to link recipes together for planned meals as well.

  A Google user: All this is missing is a method to receive the ingredient list one by one through the google assistant and a method to rearrange the order of the steps and ingredients. It would also be nice to be able to set a timer from the voice assistant.

  Arnaud Charlier: Needs a lot of work. Some site don't work. Can't add fresh category, ui is rubbish,... Look at paprika, that's where you need to receive to. Awesome to implement it on Assistant though.

  Victor Robison: Awful player interface, designed to frustrate. Redo the whole apk, please, and have someone who's never seen it create all the decisions. Also does not understand what it's being asked when accesed through Google assistant
