About the application:

Specdrums are app-connected rings that transform color into sound, played wirelessly through this apk. The rings are currently accessible for pre-order at www.specdrums.com/buy, and are currently being shipped out. After any number of rings are connected to the apk via Low Energy Bluetooth, samples can be assigned to any colors. These samples contain sounds from provided instruments (e.g., electric piano, acoustic guitar, rock drum kit) as well as those you record yourself. There are also pre-determined sample/color schemes that can be chosen for fast setup. While playing, you can loop your recordings over one other into a Sloop (Specdrums Loop), which can be exported and sent to mates. The rings can also be connected to GarageBand or another music-making tool as a Bluetooth MIDI Device.
