  Gaurav Sekhon: Any writing I wish to skim - scientific or news or science fiction - I skim hella fast now. Doing some primary SAT reading comprehension tests after having ONLY skim-read the relevant text using this application, I found my reading comprehension to be about average, by their meausre. So using this application at 800 words/minute, reading comprehension was at about an "average high schooler doing online SAT preparation" level. AFAIK, that's comprehension enough for a relatively effective, fast first skim of something scientific. For most of the fluffy news writing one comes across, however, even THAT much comprehension might be enough to create you disillusioned with the state of pop journalism. Use wisely.

  Imre Beke: This apk is a unbelievable idea, but unfortunately it's not well supported for reading news articles. There's no method to import articles into the apk and when you do, things like hyphens and ellipses easily break it by pushing words onto multiple lines. Also unfortunately a lot of junk gets copied in because of the method choosing works on Android device. To be clear I know that's Android's fault and not the app's, but it still makes the apk just that much more annoying to use. All in all, the time it takes to copy text into the apk absolutely offsets the time saved by using it.

  Aleks Ivanov: I would totally use it but there's no method to reduce the font size which is a deal breaker for me. Any long word goes on a second row and breaks my concentration. If I should change the font size I'd definitely suggest this to others.

  Very limited in functionality, and it fails even at that. Completely unusable. It only showed up in the status bar once. Then no amount of enabling or killing the apk brought it back. Paste text didn't work at all. You can only kind your own content into the paste place. There is no method to share content with it from another apks. No URL fetching. Worst of all, the Spritz implementation is flawed. It constantly selects punctuation or quotemarks as the hero to emphasize. It also offsets the word so that the red hero moves around constantly. I uninstalled after one day of frustration. It gets two stars because it's not spam or spyware.

  Carl Munoz: It's annoying to read with because if you miss a word or two of importance, the whole article is pointless to the reader. Also, it makes it impossible to read out of a textbook, scince there's no mode for taking pictures of what you wish to spritz. Overall, Spritz is a awesome apk if you need to read a long email or online ebook quickly, but not so good if your'e studying for finals, and all you have is a paper textbook. I would say overall 👍

  They They: this apk requires: share function to read text, a bigger text window, sometimes it takes up more text than the window size and it resizes it, usually somes with a (). this is very annoying. it also requires color profiles, black and white

  Chris Fotheringham: Need to be able to either read in landscape, adjust the size of text, or just create better use of screen size. I tried using this to speed read technical documents and it continuously slash off words and hyphenated them, making it impossible to hold up with. I do like the thing in the notification bar, but the limit on long words makes it useless for me.
