About the application:

The Squeebles are back, helping you learn your times tables in a special fresh method, in Flip Multiplication, an apk designed and developed in conjunction with UK head teacher Ian Wilson and St. Margaret's Lee Basic School in London. Discover how to simplify the process of learning times tables by encouraging kids to "flip" the question if they aren't sure of the reply straight away. They may know that 7 x 5 equals 35, but when faced with 5 x 7, they struggle. By understanding that those two questions are asking the same thing, kids can move forward quickly with not only learning their times tables, but also understanding how multiplication works, cutting the number of tables they have to "learn" almost in half. This apk can be used as a standalone way for learning tables or in conjunction with the more traditional way of learning the tables in their "sets". The tables are split into six, manageable, colour-coded levels, each one progressively slightly more challenging than the latest. To pass a level, your kid must not only reply all the included tables correctly in practice, but also prove they know them in a timed try. Questions from previous levels are also included in tests so that they aren't forgotten as progress is created through the app. A tables grid that shows the levels and each child's progress through them is accessible for reference and a "Flip" button for each question gives kids the possibility to see how flipping a table works. If they don't know the reply straight away, they can flip the question and see if that helps them. A good reward system and fun mini-game keeps kids motivated, with 35 completely fresh Squeebles heroes to collect as they work their method through the apk. The mini mini game provides a welcome "brain break" but can only be used if enough work has been done in the educational part of the app. Parents and teachers can customise the apk so the pass tag and needed time for each level is set on an individual per-child basis and full reporting of progress is accessible for each kid. An infinite number of kids can be registered with the app. As with all our apks, there are no in-app purchases, no adverts and no links to the internet of any kind.
