Complaints in the reviews about slowness is likely due to having the server on a NAS. Kevo B: I have been using this apk for a while now and I think its probably the best remote on android device for LMS. I have used this alongside Orange Squeeze to access my Vortexbox melody server and Qobuz streaming services and I prefer this: Better smartphone UI, integrates with all the LMS plugins I use very well. More adaptable UI features would be awesome but I appreciate that LMS sets a lot of of the restrictions. Offers related features to the best streaming apks from Linn and Naim but without the need to buy their hardware (the expensive route) and the limited streaming subscription services they use.

Mana Coste: Tried it to replace squeeze commander that has become flaky on lollipop. Very satisfied with it so far, I like that you can add Alarm to the home screen, you can adjust single click on a song to play next rather than play and replace the playlist (nice during parties when I hand the smartphone to mates to add their own selection of tracks). + keeps getting better

John Kelly: It works unlike a lot of of the another apks. I like it's usability and look and feel. Nice features to mute when smartphone rings. Worth the cash to extend the ease of use for my aging squezebox. If you message any problems with the apk, test replicating the action with the Logitech online remote. You may search its the user not the remote. It may just be me, but it seems much more player friendly than the Logitech remote and seems like it allows me to do more actions (or just easier to figure out how to do it)

Tim Pointon: This is the best apk I've found to control my Raspberry Pi Logitech Squeezebox users (obtained via Max2Play). Gratis Squeezer nearly did it, but searches for tracks etc. on Tidal gave results matching "Query" instead of the contents of the Query variable inside the apk. This apk returned query results as expected. And it has good functionality, including a sleep timer. Purchasing a awesome apk makes sense; the challenge is finding awesome ones before comitting bucks. Cheers! Modernize 2017.04.19 : Just installed my 3rd Raspberry Pi (a model 3), this one having a HiFiBerry DAC+ daughter card. With Logitech Media Server running on an old desktop over Ubuntu server, I use this apk to control the Pi's. This morning I tried syncronizing two users at various places within the house ... worked flawlessly! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP. Considering the cost of Sonos and Bluesound gear, the price of the apk is 'peanuts'!

Andras Ferencz: Not excellent (nothing is), but quite close to it! I'm glad to finally have a nice remote for my SqueezeBox 2 user and RaspberryPi server. So much better (and more stable) than the Logitech remote apk. What was surprising that when I moaned about (admittedly) little problems, I got fast and friendly replies. Not from an mad goat, but from a friendly Wayne. I know this could be a norm, but unfortunately nowadays it isn't anymore. Refreshing!

dave purnell: Found this as a replacement for SqueezeCommander which ceased working for me on Android device 6. Brilliant. Intuitive interface with deep control and reliable performance. I think this apk, along with Michael Herger's continued help of LMS will hold my unbelievable Squeezebox melody ecosystem at the heart of my home listening for a lot of years to come (well until the hardware dies). Perfect, responsive developer help as well.
