Storm Alert will give you real-time thunderstorm and lightning strike push notifications sent to your smartphone to alert you when a thunderstorm or lightning is near your place*** Lightning Data subscription is for the United States only ***Note: place permission is needed to use this apk. The apk needs to access the SD card to use the share feature. The apk uses the camera for the fresh Augmented Reality feature. For an annual subscription of $2.99 , you will gain access to lightning strike data and see a map of current lightning strikes for your place within 50 miles and be able to keep lighting strike alerts.A Map will also display latest lightning strikes within a 50 mile radius of your place and storm tracks for any radar detected thunderstorm.Features: Storm Alert Weather Widget - Current Weather conditions, Thunderstorm Alerts, and Lightning Alerts on your home screen. Weather Alerts from the National Weather Service (NWS) - weather alerts will display current severe weather watches and warnings on the map and display info about the weather happening. Robert West: I operate a solar power plant... I'm a control room operator at a solar power plant, latest week I got a storm and lightning alert, I was able to safely call all the solar field and power plant operators in literally 2 or 3 mins before the lightning started striking within 1 mile. The storm came out of nowhere and we weren't expecting weather. So the lightning tracker cost me a buck or two, it kept people secure at work.

Bob Hill: I am a long time Boy Scout leader and search myself on camping trips on a regular basis responsible for the security of another people's kids. This apk has become an essential program for me to hold ahead off the chance of risky weather and when to seek cover with plenty of warning. Don't really realize how much I depend on it until I search myself someplace without cell service and then I revert back to the old tech method and watch the sky and rely on my NWS weather radio. You don't receive the full benefit of this apk without the lightning data subscription but at $2.99 a year it is well worth it. Customer service is also good. Had opportunity to make batter my smartphone recently and had a trouble getting my lightning subscription to work. Received a response and a couple recommended solutions in less than fifteen mins. One of the proposed solutions worked like a charm. The developer also continues to ok tune this apk. He just added a fresh widget that makes it even easier to see what is coming your method. Every coach, scout leader or any another lover of the outdoors could not venture outside without having this apk installed on your phone.

Mike Z: Good apk for my smartphone Good apk, works well on my smartphone with the lightning subscription, but it is not compatible with my android device 2.3.6 Huawel Walmart smartphone, so I'm not sure how I will receive lightning data when I go on my storm chases. Nothing wrong with the apk but I would love to use it on my smartphone as well as my Nexus 7.

Alan Cargile: This is a good apk for tracking storms as they approach. It has a lightning detector and some another useful features that I like. I honestly can't figure out why this apk doesn't receive a much higher rating than it does! It works unbelievable for me and I live in a very rural place. I use it on both my LG V20 and my Asus Z10 smartphone and it works equally well on both.

The latest week or two the notifier has stopped working unless I have the apk begin. I depend on this feature to let me to receive ahead of the storm for photography.

Cory Brown: Perfect I use this when covering high school athletics to evacuate our athletes before lighting risk. Weather bug spark and this don't always accept, which is due to using two various databases, and WB doesn't tell you when the strike was or give you notifications, requiring you to constantly be checking the map. Perfect work, hold up the updates and improvements!

It's easy and simple to understand while still providing plenty of weather details. We've been having thunderstorms every day since I installed it and it has kept me well informed. Will it do the same for tornadoes? Good apk! Edit: When you check 2 day forecast is there a method to just read it without using the slider?

I purchased the lightning option why is it showing this? Love it. Only minor things I would like to see is wind direction and possibly less startup time gathering lightning data (maybe out of your control). Nice single source weather apk for sure.
