About the application:

The goal of Straight Hand is easy: form a straight! However, it's not as simple as it looks. Any card you can't place in your straight must be placed in the "Off Hand". The challenge is that any card you put in the Off Hand cannot have the same suit or the same face as any card that's in your straight. If you can't put a card anywhere, you lose! Sound simple enough? Give it a test! About the game: I first came up with the idea for Straight Hand in my Mini game Design class in high school. I knew I wanted to create a computer mini game, but I wasn't sure what to do. After staring at my computer screen for a while, I decided to stop thinking and to just improvise it! When my classmates would see me working and ask what my mini game would be about, I would tell them "I have no clue, I'm just making it up as I go!" After just a few days of designing the mini game layout, the idea of Straight Hand was born. I first developed the mini game as a Windows application, which took me about a month of working on it in class to finish it. When I had finished, the mini game was an instant hit. For a few weeks, a lot of people in my Mini game Design class would crowd around my computer waiting for their turn to play this fresh card mini game. A few people recommended that I could create an apk ver, but I turned down the idea, saying "I have no clue how to develop smartphone apks, that would be method too hard." However, I got into apk development after all shortly after graduating. By this point, I had beautiful much forgotten about Straight Hand. But one day I stumbled upon it on my computer and knew immediately that I had to turn this mini game into an apk! A few weeks later, the mini game was fully functional on my smartphone. And now here are! I hope you have fun playing it as much as I enjoyed making it!
