About the application:

Calculates when dawn, sunrise, sunset and dusk occurs, depending on place and time of year. A special feature in this apk is the graph view - this can e.g. be very useful for educational purposes. Features: - A calendar view, showing the hour and min when each happening occurs, day by day - A graph view, showing how each happening changes over the year - Shows local times, using current place, timezone and day by default - Choose other day by sliding the view left or right - Choose other place using sliders (latitude and longitude) - Choose other timezone from a list (or allow the apk automatically choose a default timezone appropriate for the chosen longitude) - Make favorite places and easily switch between these (e.g. if you often travel to a certain place and wish to check sunrise/sunset in advance) - Choose which definition to use for dawn/dusk (the twilight period): Civil/Nautical/Astronomical (the sun is 6°/12°/18° below the horizon) - Visualize how much result moving south or north have on e.g. sunrise (see the graph change immediately when using the latitude slider) - Easily spot on the graph if you are so far north/south that the sun never rises or sets in periods of the year (and when these periods are) Only in Pro edition: - View/select place on map (requires that Google Play Services and Google Maps are installed) - Click anywhere on the map to choose a fresh place - Click and keep the marker to begin dragging it (and instantly view the result on sunrise and sunset) - Click the marker to present latitude and longitude - Create the map larger or smaller by dragging the bottom of the calender/graph view up or down - Day length shown in calendar view (if enough place) - Click on a date and see all info simultaneously (incl. day length) - No advertisements
