  Mark S: I didn't even test casting yet but I know it works. For the past year I've been going in and out of the. kodi folder, copying and deleting the playercore file. I checked out what advertisement ver does and I went to the file and lo and behold, this apk changed the file name. As soon as I saw that I paid for this apk. This will save me so much time having to browse through my smartphone, present hidden files, and rename the file. With one click...bam it's switched. For those who use kodi and chromecast.. I highly recommend this apk. Developers. Thank you!! You're a time saver.

  why are we always yelling: It works I have a Galaxy S9. Thank you for developing this apk. Eazy 10 Stars if it went up that high. All you have to do is follow the easy instructions provided and magically Kodi is on my TV. This developer knows what they are doing. I don't understand the one-star reviews. Was easier to set up then my Chromecast or the full ver of local cast even. You literally begin up this apk first then Kodi and that's it. Thank you

  A Google user: Perfect easy apk, I've been looking for something like this for ages. For anyone not sure what the apk does, when you use the playercorefactory.xml file to let Kodi to cast through Localcast, whenever you play a video Localcast will always begin. If you wanted to play the video on your device you required to remove the file from Kodi to stop Localcast automatically opening. This brilliant apk changes the .xml file name in one click so that you can watch on your device, then with one click it changes the filename back so you can cast. Well done to the Dev. For all the one star reviews, you obviously don't know what this apk does. Any casting issues are caused by Localcast not this apk.

I even purchased the apk to present my appreciation which is rare for me. It removes the adds completely. I recommend everyone else who appreciates and uses this "switch" do the same!   Tom Darais: My device, an LG Pad 8 with LocalCast installed wouldn't work with this tool. So no casting to Comcast Ultra with this tool. Kodi works good on my device with MicroSD content and so does LocalCast. Maybe the trouble is due to the media being located on a MicroSD card? I'll give 3 stars in hopes for a resolution (rather than rate it worse).

  DarMok Channel: I have edited my first review, as it was written in anger at not being able to play the feeds on Kodi. I have since realized after going into the Kodi player preferences that it was probably (LocalCast for Chromecast) that coursed my difficulty. What I didn't realize when installing this tool is that LocalCast effects the method Kodi plays files. Players have to go to the right click context menu and decide what users they have installed on their tip to have the option of playing your streams to another users than Kodi. It would assist if this was created more clear earlier in the apks discretion, I am sure this is a ok apk but in conjunction with LocalCast I personally didn't like the method it interrupted my normal enjoyment of using Kodi in a the method I was accustomed too. I still would like to be able to play to Chromecast, but not be interrupted every time I play a stream normally straight to Kodi. How about an ON and OFF switch boys, more power to you thanks for your assist.
