  A Google user: I tried this apk for the first time latest night, watched a film and played around with the make mode. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't control individual bulbs in my set-up even though the apk should recognise them to add them. Rather than writing code to tool each light individually (Which sounds like a nightmare) would it be possible to run multiple timecodes simultaneously? A master track and then assign another bulbs to secondary/slave tracks. So the master track would be default and the another tracks should pick out another hues from the picture or be reacting to the movie score.

  Peter Smith: Good apk a paid subscription is Under £2. Not going to break the bank if you have already got philips hue in your house. Just think how much hue has cost you. Yes some of the movies are not excellent but after 10 mins of the movie being on the lighting if not excellent adds a nice ambience and drama to your film.

  Sizer: I can see the potential as it does work really well until your smartphone locks (andriod) then the syncing stops. Also no ability to create your own recipes on android device. Awesome apk just needs some tweaking to be good. EDIT enable developer mode turn on stay on when charging and plug the smartphone in. Apk will stay awake and sync.

  Jeremiah Gustafson: Very cool! It definitely adds to the film watching atmosphere! I just cant figure out how I will know if a synced film will be accepted. I chosen "shared" in the film info, but I only see it in my personal collection and not global. I'd definitely like to make more! Hold up the good work!

  Tyson Schellenberg: In theory it's a awesome idea, but the execution isn't good. It's not that player friendly, you have to sync it to your TV by manually pressing play and then the timing seems to receive out of sync rather quickly. Maybe it's my smartphone trying to slay the apk in the background, but even still then they could prompt you to turn off battery optimisation. More than once the lights have just gotten stuck and won't change even though it says it's still running. Also the pause button resets the playback instead of pausing it.

  Eric Melo: It works, and looks good, but can be incredibly frustrating. If your smartphone locks, it stops syncing. If you test to resync, it usually crashes. I doubt it listens to the audio because there doesn't appear to be a microphone permission.

  Robert Carney: Developers desperately need to fix the problem of the apk stopping light syncing when the phone's screen turns off. The workaround discussed whereby one has to activate developer mode and enable "hold turned on when plugged in" is unacceptable. It's such a shame as this is otherwise a gorgeous apk with some good recipes.

  High Capture: Potentially awesome, but for me the lights go out of sync after a min or two, audio syncing doesn't seem to work, lights stop working when smartphone locks (GNote8) Spend most of the time faffing than enjoying movie!

  Tim Kermode: Seemed to work OK once I finally found a movie in the gratis list I should test it with (couldn't search any method to see a "What's Hot" list just had to hold endlessly refreshing) But.. It dies as soon as the screen locks making it a bit useless unfortunately.

  Gold Lemons: The apk used to be completely gratis to use. One should watch any film they wanted with the lights synced. Now they have added a subscription model to watch films that are not in the "What's Hot" category. Not only that, but the apk just simply does not work the method it could. So you would be paying a yearly fee for an apk that does nothing.

  Nathan Hewitt: I'm very disappointed in this apk. Originally had it on iPhone and was decently satisfied w it. But just renewed my subscription after downloading the Android device ver for my pixel and couldn't be more disappointed. All the reviews about not working in background are real. Totally unacceptable. I'd ask for a refund but don't expect to receive one.
