  This apk is spectacular. It doesn't teach you any Japanese, but it provides you with _easy_ newspapers, and allows you to simply tap on a word to see its definition. For someone who already knows the basics, this is a godsend. I was looking for method to practice my reading, and this is just a well-designed, sturdy apk. Not a lot of features, but it doesn't need them. It's for reading simple newspapers in Japanese, and it does that very, very well. I'd highly suggest this to any intermediate learners of Japanese. People just starting, keep off on this one for a bit, come back once you understand grammar and some vocab. Thank you so much for designing this, you created at least one person's life a better put.

  Hands down the best apk for reading the news in Japanese...and I've tried them all. A bunch of bells and whistles makes this apk enjoyable to use, simple to navigate, and downright essential for anyone really wanting to receive into reading. And it's gratis! What's not to like?

  divyanshu gupta: The apk provides a clean, clutter-free and streamlined interface to read and listen to articles in Japanese of varying difficulty. Makes reading easier as you don't have to leave the apk to look up unknown vocabulary and Kanji , allowing you to concentrate on the article. The multiple toggle settings for furigana is like the icing on the cake. Though one thing I have a trouble with is that the apk always forgets the setting. For E. G. I have set the filter setting to easier first but after quitting it reverts back to latest first. Also a feature to set reminder to read and being able to continue from where I left would be nice if it is not too much of a bother.

  Jonathan Yap: Liked the useful features like highlighting words according to JLPT levels, vocabulary tab and videos. Earlier review:"The Furigana given was incorrect." (I couldn't search the trouble once more when I restarted the apk. Earlier I saw that 所 was しょinstead of じょ... or maybe it was my eyes tricking me? Either method, please excuse me.) I'd also like to commend the developer for responding to feedbacks very quickly. Thumbs up!

  Eddie Teo: This is by far the best apk for learning Japanese language IMO. The built-in dictionary is very handy and the feature to share text straight from the apk to Google Translate is simply brilliant! I haven't come across other apk that can share text without the furigana getting in the method, and this apk has done such a clean job! It would be good if we should play the accompanied video clip (if it is accessible) right from the "Text" tab without having to switch over to "Web" tab. Hope the developer would consider implementing this feature.

  Mike Cheesman: I really like this apk. It has replaced my previous NHK Simple news apk (sorry!), and provides a lot of fresh sources. The audio is simple to begin and stop. The bookmarking of vocabulary is good. As is the highlighting of a chosen word. Modernize: Along with allowing you to bookmark vocab, you can also share your entire list or individual words as required. This is super useful for studying.
