  Neil Fulcher: I initially had problem using this apk. However an email conversation with Thomas and a awesome read of the apk site sorted me out. I now use my Lenovo smartphone as a blue back-light screen to lay the target on and I run the apk on my Samsung Galaxy smartphone to scan the targets. It's a very useful scoring apk and can assist you correctly set your sights. The I smartphone ver has a lot more features and is set up to work on a lot more target types. It's twice the price as well. The company will port those features to the Android device ver if the interest is high enough! Even the I smartphone ver costs less then a set of quality scoring gauges.

  fred hoenisch: I saw TargetScan latest week at the range and wondered if it would work on my Blackberry Passport (after recently installing everything I required to receive Google Play Shop working). Short reply is it doesn't work on BB Passport. Don't test - it squished the camera photo and doesn't let you to take a picture. I knew it was a long shot. What really impressed me was Thomas' fast responses to my emails and the level of help offered. When I provided the screenshots and problems - there was no nonsense or question and the refund was issued immediately. I then installed it on my daughter's Samsung S7 Edge and it works like a charm! Good product. Intuitive and simple to use. Now if it should only give me better scores than my daughter gets!

  Vlad T: Fast and simple Very quick to scan and correct shots on a S7 Edge, altough can behave weirdly when moving them around: a 'slow' mode to correct would be good. GUI is simple to navigate and the apk is all around very easy. Can't wait to see the iOS features come over to Android device. The apk makes it very simple to do general shot tendencies analysis and already helped me correct some technical mistakes and match pacing. Very valuable program and I'm looking forward to see further developments.

  I downloaded this apk a couple of months ago and only now started exploring it. I search it well worth the cost -- after all, this equals ten rounds of .30 cal. ammunition, and in a high-power match one will go through that in about a min. So it's just part of the cost of your tournament equipment. At first, from online descriptions, it didn't look like it covered my disciplines -- NRA and CMP high power. But the templates for those targets, at the needed distances, are indeed included. For NRA and CMP, this apk is most useful in situations where there are no target pullers -- where competitors have to walk up and score targets after a scene. This helps with the arithmetic and provides valuable feedback on group displacement and size. I'm fresh to the Android device platform and not all of the functions and controls are intuitively obvious (they would be obvious to more experienced Android device players). Author Thomas Gabrowski was very fast to reply questions, both before and after purchase.

  Fred Porter: This is the best scoring apk! The others I've looked at in the Play shop require the shooter to enter each shot manually. Have used this apk on an S4 and S6. Shot detection has improved greatly such that a backlight is unnecessary. Now TS scores good with a target on a sheet of white paper and overhead 60 watt halogen. Also search good value in the group analysis: place, size, distribution, etc. Also PDF report export is useful. Thomas (the developer) is good with private correspondence.

  Kai Ooi: Apk is good and always improving Every target shooter needs to have this apk. A pocket diary and a history, broken up into 10 shot segments. Unbelievable! No more physical diaries and collection of paper targets. The apk detects the shots well most of the time, and it the rare happening there are shots out, it is possible to simply move the shots back into put. Thomas the developer is very responsive to emails and questions, also receptive to ideas to create the apk even better than it already is. A definite mainstay for every target shooter.
